I don't see why San Antonio would do a sign and trade rather than just signing him outright?

so let me get this straight...hes medically cleared in February latest and we make the playoffs and he is ok with sitting? we tell him he needs to not play for the thrid year in a row even tho this is the first one hes actually healthy and rested?
yeah...good luck with that. i think he demands to be out there unless we are intent he never wears our uniform again and if thats the case hes probably gone at the deadline if we have any decent season going at all next year.

Just thinking out loud, but Dame coming back as a 6th man is kind of tantalizing for this season. Solves some problems come playoff time.

I don’t think it’s nearly that black and white. You can make a case that Siakim was the only big in the series better than Bobby Portis. Chet is overrated, Hartenstien is limited and Turner is wildly inconsistent. You can also make a case that Gary Trent Jr, AJ Green and Kevin Porter Jr are all above the likes of Ben Sheppard, Aaron Wiggins and Cason Wallace who all saw meaningful minutes in the series too. To be fair, you can make a case either way and the overall point is still relevant but I think it’s a much deeper dig than just “Giannis and nothing else”.

Come on Horst, DO SOMETHING. If you read this board it's super easy to make moves, never mind that other teams have to agree to said moves. Just use the trade machine and you're done. Just sign this guy and that guy. Horst isn't perfect, he's not even great. But, as was said earlier in this thread, he got us a championship AND kept Giannis here for 13 years.
It seems many of you would easily give up the championship we have so we'd have a better shot at a championship in the future. That's crazy

Winning a title is hard and how we won wasn't really sustainable at all. I agree with the thought that Horst needed to be more proactive and build a better fitting roster around our top guy(s). Wasting draft picks and not identifying how the league was trending has played a huge role in where the team is currently at right now.
Feel like we've heard Giannis talk too much over the last 5 plus years to credit anyone else but him for the reason he's still a Milwaukee Buck. Dude is as stubborn as he is loyal.
