Not really, because then you'll have to sign 3 players using that same pool of money if you free up those roster slots via cutting them.

Losing Boucher in free agency also doesn't really clear up cap space for us. At most we might get a trade exception out of it if we manage to initiate a sign and trade.

Genuinely the perimeter defense is more important than big man d, most often players now are driving to touch paint and kick out.

Before driving to the basket was the goal, now it's to get to the paint and force defense to rotate and find open shooter.
