I think we’re gonna buy out Beal to the minimum amount required to get under 15% of the stretch provision. The motivation for him is he gets out from a team that doesn’t want him and becomes a free agent while still making his near max regardless.

At this point trade Richards , Allen , martin and keep beal. Convince him to be 6th man

Booker / pg with trade / Gillespie
Green / beal
Brooks / Dunn
Fleming / O’Neal
Williams / Maluach / oso

Beal has to agree to it, that is the biggest hurdle.

Taking the 29 and 31 drafts off entirely lol

I don’t think it’s that difficult to accumulate draft picks along the way.

They may just decline the option but if they want any chance to get something for Martin it will have to be quick. I think they have to decide by June 30th

This is a perfect example of the distinct difference between a guy like Gregory as GM, and what we've been subjected to under James Jones! The results speak for themselves obviously.

That's multiple drafts now since Gregory came aboard that we have actually made moves, AND haven't whiffed badly on any draft picks. One was a useless "yes man" that couldn't care less about the draft. And the one we have now actually has a plan and communicates to get things done.

Adding all of these cost controlled contracts obviously became imminently critical due to this! But cap reduction will need to be even more from trading Allen, O'neale, Martin and Richards too,

So we can absorb Booker's new deal with 8% escalators.

Right when I was feeling better about this team, Ishbia goes and does this stupid crap! And if Booker cared even remotely about winning he wouldn’t be asking for $70 freaking million a year. He would have team salary cap in mind to help build the team. Booker cares about Bookers money. I am sooooo done with that loser Booker. I don’t want to read or hear from one person that Booker is a “winner” because I hate liars! :banghead: Booker is a tick and he is sucking this team dry of any chance of winning!

This news is about a month old. It's just Windy now reporting it. 'Nothing to see here' information

I'd say Lamont Butler, Chance McMillan and Steve Settle are the top undrafted free agents still unsigned!

Maybe everyone else will be in a Beal trade?

Beal won’t be traded
Bought out in October

What makes you say that Bobbie?

I just don’t think there is a trade market
I know the Bulls rumor was there but it makes no sense for the Bulls

So it will get to right before training camp and the deal will happen

It might happen earlier if Beal has options

How is this true ? Rockets own '27 pick. We likely get MEM '26 1st round pick after all swaps.

Making no sense for the Bulls is exactly why it makes sense for the Bulls!

Mostly kidding, obviously his market will be tough. But seriously, how many moves have the Bulls made in the last like 5 seasons that people have said make sense for them?
