Re: 2025 Offseason Season Thread Vol. 3
Hahaha you all just keep proving my point, dick ride Tyler who’s done nothing for the organization and go to war if anyone says anything negative about him but then continue to throw Bam under the bus at all times, do you not see the irony in that? It must be a race thing for some of you at this point. I know 3ball got banned from PSD for racist comments so that’s likely what it is since he’s the ring leader of “PROTECT OUR OWN” while in return **** on our franchise player any chance he gets.
For the record, I didn’t start the Herro talk yesterday, I just shut it down because you all don’t really have a leg to stand on.
Yalls ring leading keyboard warrior woke up and sent 10 posts and it must’ve got you all feeling froggy again. I’ll leave it alone though, let me know when Herro does anything significant in the playoffs and stops getting bullied by bench players.

A team in the sun set of its best player in franchise history career and one of the best players of all time couldn’t depend on a 22 year old . Damning indictment.
Kuminga is a developing talent who has some really good tools and want to
It is if they're hesitating on re-signing him. It isn't even like they had him as a 6th man.
He may still turn out to be a good player in the league. Who knows. But, yes, it is definitely a sign of where he is given he has now completed 4 seasons in the NBA.
The Warriors don’t have time to develop a guy they have Curry, JImmy, and Draymond they need to win it all tomorrow. He also isn’t getting the ball in that group. You think Draymond the guy who told KD to basically STFU and stay in his lane is going for Kuminga getting a big leash?
I watched the Warriors a ton this year, he’s just a bad fit there. He needs to be featured to really shine. He’s one of those type of guys, the argument then becomes if them being featured is worth it, but typically those guys are getting paid close or to the max he can be had on a long term deal for much less than that.
If he touches the ball a lot he’s going to score, and he’s a guy you can let ISO people which is exactly what we don’t do well. I’m not looking for a skill set I’m looking for the guy who really wants it like that, and he’s one of those guys.
Kuminga does have good production in games where he gets opportunity.
Over the first 4 seasons of his NBA career, these are his stats in all games where he played 30+ minutes (40 games at 33.8 mpg):
20.8 ppg
53.8% FG
40.8% 3pt (3 3pa per)
71.6 FT (5.6 fta per)
6 rpg
2.4 apg (2.2 topg)
1.7 stocks per
Pretty nice for early career numbers. He can get buckets. My concern is playstyle. He's a guy who gets a lot of his production playing as a pseudo-big (PF and smallball C minutes). Not a developed 3 ball (encouraging numbers in these games tho), handle or playmaking. Betting on ramping up usage for a black hole player is often a trap. I wish he had better onball defense. Very much mixed feelings for me here. But, if the price is right, I can dig it.

I saw Reaves name as I was skimming though....the difference is marginal imo. Both he and Tyler are major liabilities defensively. I remember having a similar conversation, except replace Reaves with Maxey. PHI won 24 games with Maxey as their best player. Just sayin...

Haha I wake up to people talking **** so I’m going to respond, decided to do it in 1 post. Both are just keyboard warriors stuck living in the 90s, it is what it is.

I doubt the trade happens with LA. There could be concern on their end that giving us expirings could possibly lead to having the space to sign Luka outright especially if he hasnt 100% verbally committed to the extension.
DFS possibly leaving is weird considering he's a great fit with Luka and in general that team is going to struggle out West without much a bright future... esp if they sign Reeves to big $

Honestly Jaime should be playing too, Jovic as well but I think Jovic might have something going on with Serbia this something I can’t remember. Jaime needs all the reps he can get to find his game again

Not only play, but I liked the little glimpses that we saw when he initiated offense - he made great reads his first year outside of his scoring ability. If we are able to move off of Wiggins he should be the starting 3, at the very least to build up his confidence again and to gauge his value/growth.

Lakers improving their defense was priority #1 this offseason. DFS leaving or costing more has them moving in the wrong direction...

I've said before I'm not buying Kuminga. I guess for the "just pick a direction" folks, the direction would be clear, we're going young and taking a gamble that our coach who has maximized the game of every star he's had will do the same with this 22 year old who has all these physical tools but hasn't put it all together. What would make it at least palatable for me is if he was in the 25-27 AAV ballpark and we somehow shed Duncan, Wiggins, and Rozier (in other moves) in the process.

I'm personally good on both these dudes man. I just don't see it anymore with them.
