Where's Giannis gonna go at this point? And it's not like Milwaukee wants to trade him and suck without any of their own picks. ATL could make a nice offer and still have a team around him that could get to the Finals. Other than that... Silver could force him to LA? The Nets could send their unsigned rookies and take him and Dame into space? Boston for Jaylen Brown and some crap 1sts?

Seems to me he stays and reconsiders next summer now.

Giannis has been edging the rest of the league for years now.

I think if he says he's ready to move on, 20 teams will be tripping over themselves to make an offer.

Would anybody bat an eye if Giannis was "suddenly" traded to the Lakers and Milwaukee won the draft lottery next year?

Also interested in picking up Santi aldama (probably too expensive) or Kai Jones.

Nope, fully expect it. This league is such bull sometimes

F BOSTON!!!

I wouldn't even trade them the 59th pick for their unprotected 1st next year

Normally I'd say this is 100% what will happen but they owe an unprotected 2026 pick swap with the Pelicans that got traded by NO to the Hawks on draft night. So the Bucks will have the worst of their pick and the Pelicans next year.

First off Ben Simmons is hated in Philadelphia. He never returns period. Second Jalen Brown will cost at least 3 unprotected FRP’s.

Personally, i'd rather give PG one more year before that kind of move. I think its very likely he (and embiid) have one good year after a lot of rest last year, especially if we can pace them a bit better.

Also, i think Markkanen is on a bit of a downward trajectory, and its very possible his contract looks worse than PGs in another year. If he stabalizes i think he is still available next off season for that same package, and we pull the trigger then.

I wouldn’t give up PG and firsts for Markkenen. That’s egregious.

I do think Markkenen could turn things around if he went to a competitive team. Can you imagine playing for that franchise your entire career? Zero hope for winning anything and actively trying to tank.

That's a terrible offer for Jaylen. I'm not sure PG/Clippers pick would be considered positive value.

As for Ben... I'm forgiving, I'd take him back... This city though? Too much history for that to work for either party.

I wonder if Naji Marshall could be out of the rotation with the Mavs? AD, Flagg, PJ, Lively, Gafford…hard to see Marshall getting many F mins.

Oubre and Gordon + as many 2nd’s as it takes?

Was watching a YouTube stream where the guy with the huge pirate beard suggested that we sign and trade Grimes. I think that's our best path towards upgrading the team. Is that possible?

How much salary can we take back when trading him?

I imagine the salaries would just need to match?

Jaylen brown for Pg , Drummond, eg , clippers pick and 2 pick swaps. I would empty the clip for 6 years more of jaylen brown prime.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
