Ok I'll work on it right now.

Tax MLE for Yabusele, then use vet min on Shamet and Wright.
Let's run it back unless Giannis becomes available in August.
This is interesting. However he is not an ideal counterbalance for KAT , not that he wouldn't help but I would still want a better frontcourt defender and rim protector if I went this route.

2) Sign Yabusele to Tax MLE
3) Trade Tucker + WAS 1st + 2nd rounder for Cam Whitmore
4) Start Mitch/KAT/OG/Mikal/JB and bring Yabusele, Hart, Whitmore, and Deuce off the pine.
5) Hire Borrego as HC and Brown as associate lead assistant
ECF/Finals highly likely.

Ironically enough yes.

The fact it’s likely to convey is what I feel comfortable the FO is going to trade it. After the Mavs did them dirty I think they are even more averse to holding onto these conditional picks.
Washington is full of vets needing new deals. They are not gonna tank willingly.

Might make more sense to hold onto it for a minute. It does have some sneaky good value if WAS can get out of the basement. It should have value to them if we can find a sensible trade that gives them their pick back as well. Tricky business.

It depends on the risk reward of the pick. If they can get first round value on it, I think they move it. Even if the wizards are say 10 or 12 next year, the lottery could put them in the top 4 and the Knicks still lose the pick.
This is all hypothetically but If the Rockets said give us PJ Tucker and the Washington pick for Whitmore. The Knicks should do that trade 10x out of 10.

Ummm....how do we trade 2026 1st? Stepien Rule? I thought we can't trade another first until like 2032 if we stay under the apron this year.
Just call Houston and get the Whitmore deal done!

The media narrative plays for the public but it is well behind what the teams already know is a fait acompli.

Giannis may not come here but I would be very surprised if he stays with Milwaukee

This discussion started with me saying he is gonna go to OKC/SAS etc in a rebuild package. There are better packages they can get from ONE team like OKC that makes this a pipe dream. You can trade check away and have fun with it but, reality is they can get more sensible return far easier than 4 teams and all the rest going on.
NYK would have to pull off a miracle to get him here this summer. It's not the same as what happened with Mikal/OG/KAT IMO. Highly unlikely is putting it mildly. Next to impossible is more like it.

Next to impossible is not how I would term it.
First if he specifically asks for NY, Milwaukee is likely to send him where he wants to go. He has that kind of Gravity.
Secondly, if New York has to, including KAT gets us even more first round picks to make the trade.
So I absolutely do not think it is impossible.
If you want to say its not probable thats cool or even less than 50% sure..but next to impossible isnt how I'd term it
