It's cause corner threes are typically Catch and Shoot opportunities that come from playing off ball.
With Dyson and Jalen taking more on ball responsibility, we should see even more of these in Trae's shot diet sooner than later...

Re: The Next Phase in Trae's Development
Trae Young at one point in the season averaged 15 field goals per game. He averaged 18.1 to end the sesson. He showed that he is willing to take a step back on offense and that's a huge positive.
Jalen at 15 attempts per game seems good. I hope Dyson nd Zacch's attempts increase.
Trae, Dyson, Zacch, and Jalen should be the four players on the roster to average double-digit attempts

Re: The Next Phase in Trae's Development
I truly wish Trae would embrace more mid-range shots instead of forcing his way into the paint against larger opponents and desperately flopping for foul calls so often.
(Also, Nashing through the lane, never picking up his dribble and then pulling the ball back out to the three-point line would cause chaos for defenses with Okongwu and Risacher cutting into the open spaces.)

Trae makes me laugh.
So, when he returns, should we expect to see a new Trae? A Trae that does so many things wrong and does few things right is what I'm use too.

Quin's scheme...touch the paint or shoot a 3.
