Something we have always sucked at is you see 30+ signings after draft of 2way and summer league guys, we never land any big names that way. This year maybe understandable because we took 4 guys but still it’s always the left over scraps that aren’t top 125 graded prospects

It's good news they have already secured two ball handlers and distributors to add to the summer league roster that also hopefully includes KJ simpson. I cannot stand watching a summer league team without adequate point guards. Last year was a breath of fresh air in that regard.

KJ and Tidjane didn't play summer league last year, was pretty uneventful.

The team looking good last year in both summer league and the G-League is the key reason I still have some hope in this ownership/management group. Obviously, it didn't filter up to the main squad, but I think it matters. It showed that the new group sees playing winning basketball as a key way to develop players. And also building out a cohesive roster (which we never did previously), so that guys can play to their strengths.

Now just waiting on that to be the priority for the main squad...

Oh maybe you are right, but I think he played in less than half of the games between the two leagues we played.

that was the best summer league team we've had since like 2006. 100 times more entertaining than anything we put out in the previous 5 years.

Will miss the drama on 7/11 because I'll be noodling with Phish in Charleston, but definitely watching the rest live

Going to be a lot of bitching and arguing. I look forward to it.

You would be so mad at me if you knew what I turned down a few days ago. One of my friends lives in Charleston. Apparently his sister's husband somehow gets box seats to events in Charleston. They went to see Heart the other day and he showed pictures from the box. Anyway he told me that the husband had box seats for the three nights that phish is in Charleston. Asked me if I wanted to come down for a few days. I had to say thanks but no thanks. Plus my girlfriend would rather cut off her leg than go to a phish concert

Dude, c'mon

I'm doing the whole run but had to scrounge on secondary market because I lost the lotto and all the travel packages sold out.

i know, i know... We just spent three nights in Charleston back in April. And blew the rest of our vacation budget on that trip to Highlands a few days ago. Maybe if it was at the Spectrum Center I would go. Or maybe the Ballantyne bowl...
