Truthfully, I don’t see either guy getting moved.
Especially with Masai out of the picture, Bobby is gonna have to really hit on the next trade, as all eyes will be on him.

If the rumours are true and Masai knew he was on his way out at the beginning of June, I don't see how this changes anything.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss!

Nice to know that even though Masai is gone, the Raptors are still being talked about.

Something tells me Bobby didn't like the OG return.

There are benefits to trading either one, so hopefully that happens.

Quickley particularly seems like he is overpaid

What more did you expect for an injury prone role player on an expiring contract?

I’d also much rather have IQ + RJ, than pay 50mil AAV for a guy that’s gonna average 15ppg on 41% shooting in the playoffs in OG.

That trade was great.

Bobby desperately trying to hand off RJ, poor kid.
IQ is very unimpressive.

The message I heard from Fisher was that they will continue to add talent, so at least there is that. It could have been a case where we are shedding salary and attaching draft assets to do it.

Salaries:
Barrett $27.7
IQ $32.5

Option 1: Sabonis + Monk
Option 2: Ja Morant + KCP
Option 3: Ayton+Jerami Grant (Toronto would need to add Agbaji in for matching purposes)

FWIW: Tolzman also mentioned yesterday they’d look at fine tuning the roster via trades and free agency. But more so the former because they don’t have any cap space.

Way overpaid for his skill set. But Masai needed to justify his original trade, and sell the fan base on how good he actually was.

Who knows what other options there were over a couple of seasons. Maybe they just settled. If it was so great, he wouldn't be trying to dump both as soon as he got in charge.

Possible both are gone....I think RJ is still being shopped...We prolly want another big or an actual play making PG because IQ is more of a scoring SG than a natural PG....But we shall see what Bobbys first trade will be.

Yes I think we can do much better than IQ and I'm not a fan of his contract.

Don’t know why people are so low on IQ.
He actually played pretty well after returning from a major injury.

Give him a full season before giving up on him.

I think he’ll excel as that 3rd guy. Ingram and Scottie will create a lot of wide open spot up opportunities for him.

I like IQ but i think trying to make him the long term starting PG would not be putting him in the best position for him to succeed...I think his best position is a 6th man microwave scorer....He can't "Run the show" as a PG....Like a Lowry for example....We have been lacking a true floor general for a long time and it kinda shows....If we can find a floor general out there in a trade id be fine moving on from either RJ/IQ for that kind of a player.

IQ + RJ and maybe Dick for an upgrade at PG is the ideal move but just can't think of anyone who's available for that type of package.

Trae and Garland would have been perfect but don't think theyre available.

Move IQ to the 2 and trade RJ for a PG.

This should not be that difficult.
