Philly is on early watch for Executive of the Year. Huge fan of the patience and discipline it took to build that young squad essentially from the ground up. Personally, I couldn’t do it. Respect.

Yeah, nobody really wanted the Collins contract, even though he’s coming off a great season. It’s a bit pricey, so I totally get the hesitation. Once Derrick mentioned he was open to taking on a longer-term “salary dump,” I reached out. A first-rounder was understandably required, so I gave him what he asked for. I brought Indy into the deal and sent Kuz and Seth their way in exchange for a better fit in Middleton, since I knew Indy valued expirings.

still TBD, the roster freeze is now in place so I think Bish typically works on the FA destination rankings then its him finding some time in his schedule where he can start FA.
