I texted a buddy "BOGOLJUB" to get his reaction on the pick. He legit thought it was an offer code for "Buy One Get One" of something.

Hi name from Serbian to English language translates as Kissing the God or God Loving. I was always high on him, I have the thread about him on the Draft prospects section. My concern about him is his thin build , kind oh reminds of Pokusevski , even though Markovic has much broader shoulders and is much stronger than Pokusevski even at this stage, he can add some additional weight or muscles and his wingspan is not that long, but at least it is not negative. He's very skilled, he can put the ball on the floor, he's a very good passer, solid shooter and can post up some. I think if team gives him the chance he could carve up some kind of role within the team.

Basically team is owned by the basketball agent, probably the most powerful agent in all of Europe. Specialized in producing NBA prospects. Jokic came through his system. The club changes the name almost every season, except Mega part, Super bet is some crappy sport gambling place, that was their sponsor last season.

Wait. Can second round picks be busts? Whatever. You know what I mean.

Didn’t you call this pick like two months ago?

I don't think so. Never heard of the fella till Thursday.

Lisa after he gets fouled and goes to the line: "Buy 2, get one free!"

Actually, that's not horrible. Marques needs to look into adding me and setting up a three-person booth for games.

I watched a YouTube video and I've become convinced he'll be out franchise's best player of all time

I saw that post you linked to. I remember doing that but didn't remember it was him. Wow. NBADRAFT.NET nailed that pick.

How many guys do we even have on the roster right now? KPJ, Rollins, Brook, Bobby, Prince, GTJ, Sims all could potentially be gone. Not sure we need an open roster spot

Fine with stashing him, but I can easily see the benefit of getting him over here and working on his body for the next six months.

Could be. I’m still kind of thrown off with Horst going AWOL and Masai parting ways the next day. In theory pairing Horst with Masai is a great combination. But who knows if that is wishful thinking.

Too much is being made about Horst not doing a press conference regarding the 47th pick. Nehm would toss out a generic question or two and a softball question about Giannis. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They posted Horst's call with Bogo, that's fine.

Thanks for sharing.

There’s some really good stuff in here. I liked the couple flashes he showed in the short roll in traffic. He’s a good processor.

He also basically single-handedly kept the world team in it in the late 3rd/early 4th.

His shot looks really good for a big. Good base, easy, repeatable motion, and it’s not slow.

I also liked seeing some of his competitiveness. There’s a play later in the game where USA hits a corner 3 over him, and he looked furious.

If he’s willing to compete, regardless of his present stature, he can find a way. He’s a really nice offensive prospect.

I don't really care for what he has to say but it is poor form that the GM of the team hasn't spoken publicly at all since the season ended. It kinda feels like he's in hiding to me. Doesn't want to explain why he and Doc are back.

Not doing the usual end of season presser was bad

I highly doubt he gets stashed.
