That's what I'm sayin' - we barely beat them this year, and they just swapped their weakest link with Kevin Durant.

Re: Around the NBA V: Live and Let Die
KD has played 47, 75 and 62 games the last 3 seasons. We'll see how he holds up. When he plays he's been more efficient than ever.
Jalen Green had a bad playoffs series, his first. But he was drafted #2 overall because of a high ceiling, the same as Dylan Harper in this draft.
He was their leading scorer and he played all 82 games the last two seasons. He was their leading scorer because the coaches determined that he should get the most touches.
So I'm not sure it's automatically as big a jump as people think.

Crazy that they let him draft if they were going to fire him. Why did they draft CMB if they have Scottie Barnes? Even CMB knew he didn't want to go to the Raptors

This would be an interesting vet min, either at the end of the bench or being able to crack the rotation.
Per36 of last year....
19.6 pts, 8.4 reb, 2 blk, 34% from 3pt range.
It would give GS some rim protection off the bench.

Apparently Ujiri has a history that goes back a long way with Giannis...MDJ out, Ujiri and Giannis in?

What was that one Bob Myers quote?
Paraphrasing: “Why would I add a big man if Steve isnt gonna play him? “

Okay, so $25M/yr on the open market. That's 4-yr/$100M. Who is offering that other than Lacob?

$25m is the high end of what I’d be willing to pay him… wonder if we can get him closer to $20m per year.

Bummed out, would have loved Naz on the team. Too expensive for us though.

So the Bulls drafted a forward, now traded for a wing defender…. cmon Dun Jr, send Trayce to Chicago for Julian Phillips who is the odd man out over there.

Re: Around the NBA V: Live and Let Die
Or how about JK @22m and bring back Giddy @11m? Would Chicago consider that? Would GS? He has a QO also. How would that work? Could we extend him after a trade?

The Warriors would be nuts not to do that (if it's even possible). Giddey would absolutely thrive in Kerr's system. Offer them a couple pick swaps maybe (decent chance their picks are still pretty good)?DaHef wrote:Or how about JK @22m and bring back Giddy @11m? Would Chicago consider that? Would GS? I was saying last offseason the Warriors should make the move for Giddey. The Thunder stated they wanted to move Giddey because the money tied up with SGA, Williams, Chet, and Dort they didn't believe they could afford to keep him. I was saying they should send Podz and draft capital for him, improve on the shooting guard position. The Bulls were smart, they got him out of SGA iso ball and he thrived in keeping the ball moving somewhere else.
