Wiggins has had a bad run in Miami, but I feel he is a more valuable player than Hachimura, Kuminga, or Sexton. I'm not excited about a trade unless the Heat also get draft capital back.

Wiggins looked like he was in a coma last season after the trade. There’s also rumors that Spo flat out doesn’t like him.

Wiggins was injured too. I honestly think the jury's still out, but he can be a good player for us. We might as well try. It's not as if we are taking the NBA by storm anytime soon. Our team is not good.

after the Warriors won in 2022, he hasnt been the same since.He was their 2nd best player during that playoff run.

He played with 2 injuries in the last part of the season.
At first he had the ankle injury and came back before he was healed.
He played some good games during this period including back to back 42 and 30 pt games.

Then he injured his hamstring too and came back before he was healed again.
After this injury he played bad games.

I think it was just bad luck.

The injuries are not serious but if you don't have the time to get healed you can not perform in your standards.

Playing with 2 injuries and average 19ppg is not bad for me.

And blame a player for only 20 games played for your team while playing injured is not right for me.

I'm in for a development season, but I doubt the Heat FO or many of the fans are. We own our pick in 2026, which will be a good draft.

I couldn't read whatever that is. "Access denied."

I'm fine with a developmental season as long as we also clean up our cap and build up our assets so we can make a move when a great opportunity arises. I just hate drafting and developing supporting tier players while simultaneously overspending for second tier or ancient talent to keep us in "contention".

27, 26, 25, 22, 22, 21 and 19, as of this writing. I’m not one to proclaim what a player can eventually become, but that’s a talented, versatile group, even if the current combination of skill sets isn’t the best fit.

I don't see a core there. Just a list of names. A core is something you build off of and build around. No one on that list should be built around. Not even Bam.

I keep seeing Collin Sexton’s name getting thrown around but nobody wants to mention that not one but two Ainge’s are now in Utah and seem to be on a warpath. Do you honestly think if we call for Sexton they are not taking us to the woodshed on a deal asking us for an unprotected 1st maybe even more? With KJ it’s not realistic to invest in Sexton unless we don’t sign Mitchell.

Dont even need Sexton if we have Kaspar, Davion and Dru.

Spend that money elsewhere.

I feel like there is a trade somewhere in all of this:
- Boston is considering moving on Anfernee Simons to free up cap for guys like Horford they want to retain (need to free up about 15 mill).
- Heat have Duncan's waive option that cleans up 10 mill.
- Heat have Wiggins they would like to get off.
- Lakers want Wiggins, have expirings and mediocre assets.
- Brooklyn has some space and too many PG rookies, one of which we would like in Ben Saraf.

I hope Jaime Jaquez Jr can bounce back soon. Looking back at the 2023 draft there weren’t many 2nd round steals except for Toumani Camara. Imagine if the Heat picked Camara at #18 instead. That would have been amazing but it’s hard to be great every draft.

Terry took touches and a role away from Jaime. I think he will be fine if allowed to do his thing without Rozier here.

Rozier really ruined us all around last year.
