There can be an argument for moving anybody, including wanting to see more sustained impact, but simply saying “Clingan doesn’t seem to be a needle mover” is the part I’m clearly disagreeing with. It seems to be more of an uninformed position than anything else. Not that I blame people for not paying close attention to the Blazers. Combine that with the plan to keep Ayton and the statement as a whole feels wild.
