The Lonzo Ball trade means that Garland will be traded away soon from Cleveland.

Does Miami have interest for him?
Very good player but he didn't fit well with Mitchell

Lonzo has a crazy injury history, one of the top contending teams isn’t going to trade away their all star PG and put all their faith in Lonzo like that imo. If so then yea we should but I highly doubt it. I also doubt we’d be willing to pay the price to get him seeing as our tactic for landing all star level players seems to be lowballing and praying for the best

My assumption is that they will not rely on Lonzo Ball and they want him as backup of Mitchell.
So, imo they will trade Garland for a bigger player at sg position in order to add height and athleticism in their starting lineup which was short at the guards(although they have enough height at the bigs)

So you think they move Mitchell to PG? I’ve said for years that’s his best position and he kills when Garland is out but who knows. If they can get an all star level 2 or 3 for Garland and move Mitchell to PG I think it raises their ceiling

2nds for Wiggins is getting pennies on the dollar. Wiggins is a premiere 3&D wing in this league, and is better than the likes of Caruso, KCP, etc. He is comparable (in terms of impact) to Derrick White, Aaron Gordon, etc. etc. I don't think we should just rid of him for the sake of getting rid of him - I think we should be patient and look to get equal value in return - which would be either:

a) a first round pick + a productive vet, or
b) a young asset + a productive vet

I agree with you, but it doesn't seem that the teams are willing to give us a first-round pick. So far, I've seen Wiggins for a bunch of backups with expiring contracts.

Maybe he's not seen around the league worth a 1st. I hope that I'm wrong.

I think they will move Mitchell to PG yes.
I didn't read it anywhere, just this is the most reasonable move imo.
There is no need to have 2 short pgs in the starting lineup even if they are both very good

Yeah dude. It's early so we need to be patient imo. We shouldn't necessarily be in a rush at this point.

I will say this Kuminga is not a good halfcourt player, he needs to play in transition like Toppin. I think Toppin is the prototype for Kuminga

I don't think the Heat will waive him. There will be a trade sooner or later to reduce the roster.

In fact I think Golden State is the perfect spot for Duncan.
