I don't want anything to do really with Miles Bridges

And why would the Hornets trade those two for Bradley Beal
Both Green and Bridges expire in 2027 - so its not like they get cap flexibility trading for Beal

I think Beal has zero trade value. I mean if he could have less than zero - I think he would have it

It would be nice if the Suns could combine salaries with Richards and attach either O'Neale or Allen for an expiring.

Granted, moving $5m of cap for a couple seconds isn't the worst thing

Beal for Rozier and Robinson works... Maybe get ourselves some cap space to bring back Mikal next summer.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Who is running point? That's the question this FO needs to address. Otherwise, this team will be a mess all season with turnovers.

Tyus Jones coming back?

Chris Paul said he wants a West Coast team, can he accept a bench role for 20/25 mins? Is there still bad blood between him and Book?

I think a lot depends on how much the Suns can offer

Right now, they are well over the second apron. So can they maneuver enough to get under the aprons to allow multiple player trades.

I think Shroder for the minimum might be good
Tyus Jones was not good last year - and maybe that can change - but it would be for the minimum
Ty Jerome - with Ball in Cleveland is a FA but he will be expensive. I am not stretching Beal just to sign Ty Jerome for 10m or whatever

The bad blood was CP3 and KD.

I would love to get CP3 back. He's clearly okay playing with a bunch of younger guys considering he went to the Spurs in the first place. I think CP3 and Dillon Brooks would be amazing to give that type of leadership and the right culture to a team of developing players.

Yeah, this is what I thought. Book and CP3 seemed to be on great terms.

I wouldn't mind Chris spoon-feeding Maluach and Williams 15-25 minutes a game.

Paul and Brooks would be great leadership for the Suns
He wants to be close to his family. So my guess, the Lakers or Clippers will be the team he plays for

I'd promise CP a starting spot if he's willing to come on a vet min. Bring Green off the bench. Just having CPs basketball knowledge would be good for the young players.

Fred Katz:

Phoenix could try to trade Beal, as it did this
past season, but his no-trade clause remains.

The same that was true before the 2025 trade
deadline is the case today, according to a
league source familiar with Beal's thought
process: Beal would be open to the right trade
that sends him the right destination, but his
preference is to remain in Phoenix, even if the
team won only 35 games a season ago and just
downgraded from Kevin Durant, who it dealt to
the Houston Rockets last weekend.

I'm honestly fine if we don't move Beal or Green just yet. I think we can get more value closer to the deadline.

This isn't surprising. There just isn't a match for Beal.

I think he will be better without Durant just because he was redundant with both Booker and Durant. Durant gone reduces the redundancy.
You can stretch him - if he were to agree - but what player are you replacing him with - if any -just to get below the apron levels. Not worth it

Hopefully they can shop Richards, Royce and Grayson and call it good

Can the Suns offer a plane service for his use whenever he needs to fly back and forth?

Kawhi took the helicopter many days.

I could be wrong, but I think they would have to add Mitchell or Highsmith to the deal to make it work.

I would make that deal.

They also could be a destination for O'Neale and Allen.

How our new GM handles the O'Neale, Allen and Bell contracts is going to be interesting. There are no obvious ways to make us better. The best move may be to just stand pat and pay the price. We do not need worse contracts.

I also think that we should consider keeping Richards until the trade deadline unless we get an offer that we cannot refuse. This should go for all 4 or these guys.

Someone wrote that the KD trade could be voided if we do not get below the 2nd apron, is that true?

The Miami one is interesting but my guess - Riley would rather have the expirings of Rozier and Robinson over Beal for another year

Now they just signed Mitchell to a two year deal - so that could make Rozier expendable
Would Beal be a good enough replacement for Robinson to tack on abnother year at 57m?

I read that he was going to Dallas to be their point guard until Kyrie gets back. I think Dallas is going to be really good this year and could give OKC all they want. I expect CP3 wants a ring, and Dallas offers that potential opportunity. They also are offering more than the minimum. I would love to have him back, but I do not think that is in the cards. We should have never traded him. The KD trade was horrible but if possible, this was worse and then we traded Ayton. Hopefully we are done making these type of decisions.
