I thought he was 6'11.5 barefoot? He is legit growing to 7'1

And yet its not pronounced like the women's name.

So when you write it in the context of a woman (Joan of Arc), people are going to read it as if you're calling him a girl.

Plus its a bad name for his skill set anyways. Anyone "of Arc" should be a shooter.

But it doesn't matter because you're going to be the only person using it.

Of Arc is intended to mean he forces opponents to put a lot of Arc on their shots.
As another poster here mentioned Joan of Arc was a badass male or female. It is a badass nickname no matter how you pronounce it. If it catches on great. If it doesn't boring.

What do you mean with that?

Are you questioning that the person is a male or a female or you don't know a very important history character? These days you never know

I believe he is expected to grow at least another inch or two.

Joan of development Arc? :o

OK final answer.
Joan of development Arc.

Agreed. I want him following Rudy around like a puppy dog.

Beringer kinda reminds me of Joakim Noah without the passing or established BBIQ.

With his body type, agility, and way he bends and gets down in his stance.

If he could turn into that kind of offensive player plus be more of a lob threat you would have a pretty good overall player.

Interesting comparison. A taller, but more raw Noah. I'd be fine with that.

I'm wondering if this is the most accumulated height a team has ever drafted in 2 picks. It's 14 feet 2 barefoot inches.

Good comparison. From what i heard is also that Joan seems to be a hard worker ( more than Joakim lol) and love to learn. If he grow well he can totally be a Joakim Noah type.

One thing IMO at least is both our draft picks are FUN. 18 year old 7 foot plus players, still learning the game. So much potential.

The issue that I have with the Joakim Noah comparison is that Noah's vision as a screener and passer, along with basketball IQ defensively, are what made him such an exceptional player. I think that someone like Tyson Chandler is a more likely top-line comparison for Joan Beringer (though he was better at the same age).

Camby came up in the wrong generation. When teams wanted bigs to bang and post up. In the NBA now, he’d be Chet Holmgren: blocking shots, running the floor, and that jumper he had would be stretched out to the three point line.
