Good god that frontcourt depth is insane.

To be honest, I guess every team Scalabrine was on is so to speak the right answer. The only person that can beat the White Mamba is himself. I think the scariest thing about him is that he is the only player that has retired and still hasn't hit his prime yet. He still is getting better year by year.

That's why I don't believe in this conspiracy crap, if the league really is rigged, the Mavs wouldn't have traded Luka to the Lakers, Scal would have signed with the Lakers as a free agent midseason instead.

What year were Pierce and KG traded to the Nets? That Nets team with everyone in their primes would have been pretty insane.

2019 Raptors have an insane defensive team if everyone is in their prime.

Point guards: Lowry and VanVleet
Wings: Kawhi, OG, Danny Green
Bigs: Gasol, Ibaka, Siakam

A recent one. 2020-21 Clippers would be nasty.

Rajon Rondo / Patrick Beverley / Lou Williams
Paul George / Luke Kennard / Reggie Jackson
Kawhi Leonard / Nic Batum
Serge Ibaka / Marcus Morris / Patrick Patterson
DeMarcus Cousins / Ivica Zubac

Some Bulls teams were already mentioned. 1987-88 Bulls had 38-year old Artis Gilmore on their team

Jordan
Pippen
Grant
Gilmore

Next season Clippers look like a good contender for this thread.

CP3 / Simmons / Dunn
Harden / Beal / Bogdanovic
Kawhi / Jones Jr.
Batum / Collins
Zubac / Lopez

2005-06 Sixers

PG-Iverson
SG-Korver
SF-Iggy
PF-C-Webb
C-Dalembert

That would actually be a pretty good team if all these guys were in their prime.

The 1998-99 Rockets had

PG - Cuttino Mobley/Brent Price
SG - Eddie Johnson
SF - Scottie Pippen
PF - Charles Barkley
C - Hakeem Olajuwon

Not much depth, but that's a heck of a starting frontcourt.

An interesting team that might be overlooked is the 1999-2000 Blazers:

PG Damon Stoudamire/Greg Anthony
SG Steve Smith/Bonzi Wells/Stacy Augmon
SF Scottie Pippen/Detlef Schrempf
PF Rasheed Wallace/Brian Grant
C Arvydas Sabonis/Jermaine O'Neal

Holy crap. Those 2000-era Blazers teams are a goldmine of washed up vets.

In 2000-2001 they had:

PG Rod Strickland/Damon Stoudamire
SG Steve Smith/Bonzi Wells/Stacy Augmon
SF Scottie Pippen/Detlef Schrempf
PF Shawn Kemp/Rasheed Wallace
C Arvydas Sabonis/Dale Davis

'85 Celtics would be able to add a prime Bill Walton to a frontcourt of Bird, McHale and Parish. Yikes!

Sheed and Sabonis?

No thanks I'm good. No way you're scoring inside on that.
