Both teams will make it to the finals and face each other.

This time, the new modern 3D aka Bane, will make 4 consecutive FTs to ice Game 1 and lay the demons aka Magic curse to rest and thereby winning the chip for us.

the Rockets will miss Brooks and it's almost certain KD and FVV will miss time. Ime is a fraud and he refuses to play young players so they'll be burned out come playoff time, if they even make it.

The Magic addressed their biggest need via trade and the draft. They have depth at every position and ascending young talents. Most importantly, they have a hungry team facing the least amount of adversity in a weak Eastern Conference. They should be considered one of the favorites to make the Finals which you really shouldn't argue is true about the Rockets in the West.

have you looked at the ages of the players who played big minutes for the rockets last year?

If Ime "refused to play young players" their entire rotation would have been 4 guys: Brooks, FVV, Adams, and Holiday. everyone else that played in a meaningful way was born in 2001 or later.

the only young guy that played less than expected without a good reason, was Sheppard. Everyone else that played less than expected did so because there either wasnt room in the rotation, or they werent putting effort into hustle and defense in Ime's view. with their crowded roster, thats how Ime seems to prefer to let people earn their playing time.

its fine to not like a team. i have teams i dislike as well. but lets not invent fake narratives.

how fun would it be though, if in game 1 of these miracle finals, Bane misses 4 FTA in a row and the curse continues? the next chance to break it being 30 years from now to keep the pattern going. 2055 nba finals HOU v ORL, where someone who isnt even born yet will fulfill his destiny of missing 4 free throws at the end of G1 in the NBA finals.

But its the end of the Magic Center curse. Its not C vs C in Dream vs Diesel

Its PF in PB vs KD. ( wouldve wanted to be Jabari since he same draft class and he was the smokescreen pick of our FO so maybe bad blood there )

Totally different outcome. lol

If Banchero learns how to make shots, Orlando. If not, Houston.

Magic just because of the EAST. Rockets could find themselves matching up against the Warriors again and lose because they traded all their small defenders away.

Also Durant injury history <<<<< Bane injury history.

Funny how being the 2nd seed didn't actually take the Rockets any further than the badly injured Magic, whose core only played six games together all season. Maybe those posters were onto something.

Did you fall asleep when Orlando had all of those injuries?

And yall lost to an old washed up GSW team in the 1st round. Not a good look. But yall did wear them down, took them to 7 games. Minnesota easily dispatched them in the 2nd round.

And at least the Magic were beaten by the defending champs. Houston lost to an aging Warriors squad.
