At least we know Tyler Smith's value.

Tyler Smith shooting stats are significantly better than Dillon Jones albiet less volume

Tyler Smith was a dude who was drafted out of the G-League, who went back to the G-League and who played worse. I don't care if he was drafted 33 last season, if the Bucks wanted to trade him for whatever reason, this is probably his value as well.

Yeah Dillon Jones was laughably bad. Couldn't even compete in the G League. Awful pick by Presti.

Dillon Jones is 4 years older with a larger contract.

Thunder dont have much leverage given they have to get rid of some guys to make room for their picks.

Jones was real bad though. The deep end of the their bench was even getting dominated by our guys in that game where they basically played the Herd before the deadline. I like Dieng though.

Lot of money being spent on bigs in Minnesota.

There is a growing belief that Julius Randle will be next in striking a long-term agreement to sign with the Timberwolves as well. Those highly anticipated returns of Reid and Randle, however, have increasingly painted Alexander-Walker as the odd free agent out in Minnesota

If there’s a positional group that you have to get right - between guards, wings, and bigs - I think bigs are the most important.

They are so much of your identity.

They are your most important defensive group, but their limitations often dictate the scheme you run, and their mobility often dictates your pace of play. Their strengths can be utilized to completely change your offensive approach as well.

Maybe it all boils down to the different ways bigs can be utilized in the league while remaining highly effective. I think theirs is more versatile than any other group.

They’re going to have some really interesting decisions to make next off-season. Once Jalen and Chet’s extensions kick in, they’ll either be comfortably over the 2nd apron, or they’ll have to let some key players go.

Off the cuff, 8M per seems like a ton for a guy who played 8mpg in the playoffs, but it's a pretty tradeable contract. He seems like a glue guy, he looked fine when he did need to play more minutes, and the last year is a team option so he's basically an expiring two seasons from now.

And 8M is like nothing in the NBA nowdays.

Kind of a weird choice for a 3rd string big considering they could have just picked up his minimum team option. Hard to question Presti at this point though.

JWill is a team culture and vibes guy. Like the Bucks paying for Thanasis except if Thanasis could be a regular season minutes eater. Think many Thunder fans will be excited about keeping him around.

I just don’t get how stupid some people are. Watch it be a DraftKings account under his name or some dumb ****.

This is a bummer for us.

Trying to retain 3 guys at that position.

Really only 1, Trent.

- Green's not an FA.
- Rollins is an under-established combo guard, similar to Sasser And he's an RFA.
- KPJ is a pg who wouldn't want to backup/share duties with Cade.

But we're also competing with Detroit, who has cap space, for Gary now maybe/probably. So yea, it's a bummer.

Doesn’t seem impossible the Lakers lose DFS.

Shams: Los Angeles Lakers forward Dorian Finney-Smith is declining his $15.4 million player option for the 2025-26 season and will enter free agency, sources tell ESPN. Multiple contending teams are expected to pursue Finney-Smith beginning Monday night and a Lakers return is possible.
