Seems to be the case.

I don't particularly love Ayo, but he could fill the backup SG slot potentially.

Wait what? That article said they "might" re-sign Giddey? No ish they should lol

Isn't Ayo too small for the SG? He is 6'2 barefoot right?

I was hoping we'd get him last summer, had a bit of a down year this past year. (or maybe just an up year in 23-24)
Wanted him in guard off the bench roll, seemed like a good 2 way player kind of stuck behind bigger named players (LaVine, Ball, Caruso, White, Giddy)

Also... Cavs are.. i dunno what they are doing.

On one hand Okoro is useless esp now they have Hunter. But they trsded him for Lonzo whonis even more injured than all our injury-tagged players combined. I mean Lonzo is great when he is playing. 6'6 PG that matches us well with our backcourt... but availability though...

Pretty obvious, you said it…

Chance of great > “useless” (no chance of great)

It’s not a gamble though. They’re replacing a player who they did not want to play and we weren’t going to play with a player that they absolutely can and will play if he’s healthy.

And they got out of Okoro’s contract a year early.

It’s nothing but added value for them. If Lonzo doesn’t play at all because of injuries, they’re in the same spot they would have been anyway with a healthy Okoro.

So Okoro is unplayable with the Cavs but he is ok with the Bulls then? I never thought the Bulls need a tank commander

Lonzo is a really good acquisition with Garland missing the start of next season.

Them picking Merrill over Jerome is very smart. A team is going to overpay for Jerome.

The Bulls have a poor front office that routinely makes bad decisions.

I can’t say for sure, but it sure sounds like LeBron is greasing the wheels for a potential return to Cleveland…

I wouldn't want Beasley now. I was always suspicious of KCP when he was here.

Got to be the worst timing for Beasley, right before free agency starts.
