Talk about an active start to the off season, yeesh. Someone earlier this year was talking about the new CBA making this off season a crazy one, looks like they were right on the money.

Hes a poor man's Zach Lavine. and thats a borderline insult to Lavine

He’s Steve Francis without the ball handling. Teams that are interested in winning shouldn’t be paying him over 20 million/year for his services.

Van Fleet re-ups with Houston 2 yr $50 million, per Shams.

Utah Jazz big man John Collins has exercised his $26.5 million player option for the 2025-26 season

They'll have to make some moves first I think, but get it done

Who can we realistically target this offseason? I wonder if Luke Kornet is a realistic option.

So it looks like Cam Whitmore will be on the move. I am not sure for who, but my sense is the Rockets realize that his ballhog tendencies are just not worth trying to develop with this group pushing for a chip. Wouldn't be surprised to see him moved simply for a future first.

He's the only young Rockets player who plays selfishly IMO.

Since Chris Paul has made it vocally known he wants to go back to the West Coast, what are the odds he ends up with the Clippers or the Suns on a minimum next year? I think he would be a good backup to Harden believe it or not. The Clippers had to rely on washed Ben Simmons and Kevin Porter Jr to do it last season.

You'd think the Bucks would be more active given their situation. Then again there's not much to do in their situation. Seems like they're just waiting for the inevitable.

Dillon Jones traded to the Washington Wizards from OKC. So we were wondering how the Thunder were going to remove the roster crunch. There it is. Dude didn't look like much from what I saw over the season. I wonder if this means they are still holding on to Ousmane Dieng.

Jones was acquired for Colby Jones, who the Thunder immediately waived. Good luck Colby, we hardly knew ye.

So far the Wizards depth chart at the 2/3 position:

SG - CJ McCollum (expiring)/Marcus Smart (expiring)/Tre Johnson (rookie)
SF - Bilal Coulibaly (third year)/Kris Middleton (expiring)/Corey Kispert/Kyshawn George (second year)/Dillon Jones (second year)

Something has to give here in Washington for a season. Going to be awkward as heck, unless McCollum or Smart are going to be the sixth men backcourt and AJ Johnson's minutes disappear for a year behind Bub Carrington at the point.

I think they’ll roll with 1 big, 2 wings/forwards, 2 guards. It’s actually pretty balanced with that approach.

SL: Bub - CJ - Bilal - Middleton - Sarr
2nd: Smart - Tre - Kispert - Kyshawn - Olynyk
3rd: AJ - Riley - Champ - Dillon - Vukcevic

Eventually Tre Johnson moves into the SL for CJ depending on how he goes early on.

Team probably gets destroyed on the boards nightly, but I totally forgot about Will Riley and Olynyk. I like your rotation though, it makes sense. And it still allows the young guys to get minutes. Kispert seems like the odd man out of this rotation, if I'm being honest, especially if Tre's deep shooting is real from day one.

Jaylin Williams, 3 years/24 million for Thunder. Seems like another guy who will become a OKC-lifer because he's a solid role guy, but he's awesome in the locker room and off the court.

If the Pistons sign Alexander-Walker to that deal now that Beasley's having legal problems, they will immediately regret it. Yes the guy can defend, but he can only shoot from the corners and is totally unreliable as a bench player in the playoffs.

Re-sign Schroder for ****'s sake.

So Danny Ainge/Justin Zanik extend Jordan Clarkson in hopes of flipping him for more assets. He proceeds to decline significantly and becomes a toxic asset. Kind of flies in the face of just re-sign our guys to maintain their value and we can still flip 'em. Sometimes, you're stuck and now if you don't play Clarkson, he becomes a malcontent in the locker room. Probably gonna have to just waive the guy (if he won't give me back some bread in a buyout).
