Wonder how much he'd want if he ever actually did anything in the NBA other than not play defense and get repeatedly benched and ball hog.

Okay, what do we think is going to happen with Duncan Robinson? We know the Heat will be talking to his agent about potential contracts if he opts out. How much do you think he's being offered? My guess is 3 years at $20 million, back loaded with the last year being a team option.

Im down for the Whitmore pivot

Quite frankly, I’d rather call up Dipo to see how he’s recovering rather than use assets for Komepinga.

I’m on board with trading for Dame and giving him year off, while we tank, and then come back following year with Bam/Dame/Herro plus young guys and lotto pick.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Maybe we are looking to get a younger Wiggins who hasnt lost the athleticism?

the biggest benefit of potentially adding Kuminga is the added rim pressure and foul drawing. 1 of the biggest issues with this offense is Tyler is our main drive and spray guy… he needs to be the 1 its being kicked out to & attacking closeouts more often.

A full szn of JK, Davion, and Kas providing this in waves would be a big change.

I can see the skillset Miami is trying to add as I watch more film. Hyper athlete who wants to score buckets. Yeah, we need that.

Im super hesi, but if the deal is good.....

I'm not on board with Dame. I'm tired of paying big money for old point guards. They always disappoint.

As for Kuminga, if that's the asking price, move on. Too much for a guy I don't have that firm a conviction on.

I'm all for investing in a young guy with star potential but that's too high a price with too little proof of concept.

Paying big money for a FRP

Not to mention that theyd be trading away big money in the process in Rozier and Wiggins

Also clears a wider pathway for a soft tank next season

With Wiggins gone, Jaquez and maybe even Johnson can get more run to develop

That’s a very easy decision imo

My guess is Duncan opts out and resigns on a three year deal at like $7 million this year with a team option for the third year

So rumor is that Houston has Whitmore on the market and they’re looking for a 3 and D vet basically. You’re going to be hard pressed to find that matching salary for someone as cheap as Whitmore. Luckily we have Highsmith who is a great defender and has flirted with 40% from 3 the last 2 seasons. Seems like a pretty simple swap and honestly feels like a win-win move. We add some more young talent at a position of need and the Rockets get a low usage dirty work guy for their championship run.

Comparing Cam to Kuminga, he is 2 years younger, a better shooter, is owed less than $4M a year for the next 2 years compared to Kuminga wanting over $30M per beginning next season, and he’s actually bigger than Kuminga at 6’7 235, dudes a tank and he’s just a kid. I think he has sky high potential if he can get a legitimate chance somewhere.

This seems pretty simple to me but who the fuxk am I

Id be shocked to see him opt in just for us to cut him, we’ve been married to him for too long just to let him walk away imo and he gets a bad wrap because he couldn’t hold up his all time great level shooting but he’s one of our better playmakers and he has a nice 2 man game with our bigs which is important. Divorce today would be shocking.

Don’t forget this part of the LeBron article

"LeBron wants to compete for a championship," Paul told ESPN. "He knows the Lakers are building for the future. He understands that, but he values a realistic chance of winning it all.”

We can make it happen, especially with the Celtics Bucks and Pacers already out of the picture.

Dame package for Bron? - Wiggins and Rozier

They would also ask for Ware and picks predictably

Wonder what Mia would hypothetically settle on

LeBron has a no trade clause. He controls what deal gets accepted.

Return to Miami Heat
