Yeah, Detroit can't wait around for this to resolve itself. I feel like Detroit's going to have to pivot and Beasley ain't going to be back now.

Beasley just got caught. If you don’t think over half the league is involved in this stuff…you crazy. You don’t think these guys are talking f to friends of friends? Even the refs. The amount of corruption that will be exposed in 10 plus years will be unlike anything g we have ever seen before. Especially at the collegiate level.

Looking at the USDA stats it’s not looking good for Beasley…

About 90% of defendants plead guilty before it even goes to trial. With the cases that do go to trial, less than 1% are acquitted.

8.2% of cases were dismissed so there’s that.

Stars are from 2022: https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2023/06/14/fewer-than-1-of-defendants-in-federal-criminal-cases-were-acquitted-in-2022/

Welp this sucks.

Looking at NAW makes more sense. I’d like us to consider going after Malik Monk, apparently he is on the trade block.

Makes more sense to bring back THJ now. Need 3s in the worst way…huge hole to fill here, god dammit Beas.

Investigation stage. No charges filed as of yet. Revolves around the 2023-24 season when he was with the Bucks.

Your stats are based on “defendants”, meaning charged with a crime.

Let’s hope he’s never indicted.

I’d be curious to hear what percentage of people mentioned in an investigation get charged.

That’s unfortunate that he’s had that black cloud over him this long and they just chose to publicize it.

The FEDS are dirty.

Haha yeah if we weren’t going to wait for Schroeder we’re definitely not waiting for Bradley’s situation.

Not sure how long it's been. The investigation could have started recently.

Maybe the FEDS are upset over the diddy trial. Curious what was their motive to brings this out now??

Also, a great shooter Beasley is but you basically go stone-cold in the playoffs??? Question, was he paid off???

This is really too bad. Even if charges end up not being filed, you're not going to sign him until the matter is resolved. You have to approach free agency as though he's unavailable. You can always sign him later if he's cleared.

This is brutal but I agree we likely have to move on to someone else. Honestly makes more sense to keep one of THJ or Schroeder now.

Return to Detroit Pistons
