I think Grayson Allen is a good target for them, better than Beasly and could be had for Fontechio and Sasser.

It’s really possible he’s just a terrible matchup against the Indy’s of the world and would be great everywhere else. I just think we’re going to see more teams work to emulate some of the style of the Pacers and he’s going to keep getting worse and worse.
Well if more teams find tall Steve Nash I could see that happening for sure but it's not that easy to replicate lol

Don’t think you necessarily need Haliburton to just look downcourt off rebounds and push downcourt a little harder than teams have lately. Or to work on conditioning in the offseason and camp.
Teams have been trying to get their guys to play like this since the start of the analytics era, everyone already knew getting out in transition is way more efficient basketball. You hear teams every single camp talk about it every year, it's just not that simple. Watch a single random Houston rockets transition possession (especially if Jalen Green is involved) and you'll see what I mean

Losing both Beasley and Schröder and getting NAW would be a huge disaster. We finally have a comptentent FO and stupid **** start happening. NAW is fine but both those guys are way better than him.

He's not going to demand a trade, let's stay here on planet Earth. The only 2 teams he'd probably even be wiling to waive his NTC would be Golden State and Cleveland.

I think this is just klutch forcing LAL to not sit back content with Luka and future cap space

A huge part of it for Indy is simply conditioning. Guys can run. And there’s depth to sub them out, and players trust they’ll get back in. The rest is literally just game planning a bit in terms of more quickly finding the PG and looking up.

If it was only Haliburton able to do it, then why can Nembhard do it? And McConnell? And even the two way guys when everyone is resting? It’s game planning. And conditioning.

And it was clearly effective. And the nba is a copycat league. I’m sure we’ll see more teams stealing bits and pieces of it.

Schroder way better than NAW? Disagree heavily.. don’t think Beasley is way better either.

Me too. And NAW got a lot of votes for 6MOY last season.

Just popped in to say that I think MIN should offer NAW a deal starting at $14.1, even if they signs Randle and NAW puts them over the second apron. Re-signing your own players doesn’t trigger any apron rules, and even if they kept NAW until the end of the season, it’s just more lux taxes for Lore and ARod. A $14.1 mil also allows MIN a chance to trade NAW if needed to a contending team at the deadline who held onto their non-tax MLE, like many teams did last year. It keeps team continuity and talent, and who knows if MIN needs to trade someone other than NAW in February?

So are other teams willing to start at $16 with NAW? That might make MIN flinch.

I don’t expect LBJ to get traded or that he really wants to get traded? Just seems like pressure to try to make them make a move.

No idea where he’d go that would be better set up than playing with Luka though.. Would like to watch that one playoff run for Dallas but doesn’t seem realistic.

Denver would be a fun choice if we are doing LBJ ideas..

NAW is a better defender than Schroeder, better 3pt shooter, and less of a prick, but Schroeder is better at everything else, ball handler, passer, can actually get to the rim, it's a 3&D Vs actual PG with suspect shooting, totally different players.

Speaking of unfortunate timing, I’d forgotten he had those gun and marijuana charges in 2021 right before his contract negotiations with MIN!

Time for Pistons to trade for Klay, please. Simone and a meh 2nd is all I'd ask for

Even though I’d rather Sexton end up a Mavericks..

Jock, Cam for Sexton seems legal?

I don't think Houston can stay below the 1st apron at 14 guys if they do that, and if they could it would be too close to be comfortable in case something happens

Probably can’t build the value without one of Dallas’ bigs but trying one?

Naji and Hardy to Charlotte
Sexton to Dallas
Green and a stack of seconds to Utah

Charlotte pays a 2-3 seconds to get Naji instead for injured Green, Dallas has two seconds to add as wel?

So Utah ends up with 4-5 seconds for Sexton and doesn’t care much that Green is hurt, he’ll be good to have around youth when he gets back?

Maybe CLT owes more and Dallas only has to add one second? No second?

Dallas would have to trim a couple million to still use taxMLE, but that’s just dumping Prosper and signing Nembhard and another 0 service guy..
