Sure, too bad he's not a center, not on our team, and makes $26.5 million.
He is a FA and Bobby is not acenter either.

So you want them to go out and get several all stars.

Absolutely. Was Obi Toppin an all star when Indy grabbed him? How about Nesmith?

Obi Toppin is not a good defender. And while Nesmith is a much better defender, he can't do all the things you mentioned. But we can agree, the Bucks could use a guy like Nesmith. I think a healthy Rollins could fit that role.

As an aside, mentioning the Pacer's players in the context of defense implies the Pacers had a good defense. They didn't have a good defense in the regular season and were 8th during the playoffs.

Bobby can physically body centers. We started him a whole season next to Giannis. Won over 50 games. If he's more the guy from the 1st 2+ seasons and the last few months last season, than the 2+ yrs in between, it's palatable, if not on more than a 2 yr contract or for near 20 per.

Well Bobby is a turn style on D and offers zero rim protection. Doc refused to play Sims with Giannis, so there's that.

BP is not a turnstyle on defense and no repetition of this falsehood makes it any truer. He does offer no rim protection, so you got that half right.
Down low he can't stop bigger people. He is just an average defnder. Nothing special.

Biggest issue with Brook leaving is Giannis at center during the regular season.

He doesn't want the beating on his body as the only big and the team starts off slow..... Writing will be on the wall

Marks on LAL outlook.

"Doncic is eligible starting on Aug. 2 to sign up to a four-year, $229 million extension. The Lakers could have most of their $14.1 million non-tax midlevel exception but only if Finney-Smith declines his option and does not re-sign. The Lakers are $20 million below the first apron if the forward doesn't return."

If lose lose Brook for the tax payer MLE. What a **** up.

Where do people get the idea Giannis doesn't want the beating? I heard him state several weeks ago that the NBA is too soft and he would welcome being able to play more physical and be played more physical.

It’s less about his willingness, unlike AD, and more about the unnecessary punishment on his body during the dregs of the season

Good news, if true. No mention of GTJ.

So is Kuzma really going to be our 3rd highest paid player and come off the bench or is Doc going to create some moron lineup where he thinks Kuzma can play the wing like last year?

If Trent stays, he's almost certainly getting 10+ and very possibly the full MLE.

But i dont think the Bucks would do that unless they know one of two things for sure: Either KPJ will agree to sign for the BAE, or he already has an offer for more than the MLE and he's taking it.

God i hope we can get them both but it seems impossible.

Being average on defense is certainly different than being a turnstyle. I actually thought BP played well when he had to switch last season.

That's a fair question & I think has major implications on how effective it/he can be. I'm agnostic. Doc might have reached a breaking point finally in Game 5. But it became an extreme & we can have no faith in Doc's ability to use players in their proper roles.

The $ should be meaningless. It's already been paid. And his salary for a 3rd banana is low, even if he didn't even close to compensate us for that last season. He'll be making 23. Dame's on 58, Giannis 57. The average #3 on win nows are making 30+.

KPJ and Trent can't sign today since we don't have bird rights. Bobby could though

Kuzma also only played 16 minutes in game 4 despite starting, so Doc is aware of the problem. Kuzma playing to previous levels also helps. Also no guarantee he's back next year.

The Bucks have gotten discounts on the past, and even if deals are done, the agents might not leak it because they don't want to dilute the market if they're bargain deals.

So that means he goes from UFA to RFA right? Is it easier to resign him now or do we just wait to see if he signs an offer sheet before we decide what to do? Can’t imagine him getting a substantial contract but I also wouldn’t be surprised if a team out there wanted to take a chance on him and try and pry him away.

I hope he’s back on longer term deal tbh. I’m a big fan, I think that kids got untapped potential still and could be something good in Milwaukee. I’d hate to lose that over what’s likely an insignificant number when hindsight kicks in a year or 2 from now.

I’m right there with you. It’s been mentioned here already but whoever keeps harping on “direction” is spot on. Like, show the fanbase there’s a plan to make the Milwaukee Bucks a competitive basketball team. We’ve gone in the opposite direction for a little while now. Crap move after crap move. Let’s see some signs of life now besides hanging onto everything Giannis says to reiterate he’s staying in Milwaukee. We gotta be better than that as a whole franchise.

Have we heard anything about Rollins shoulder surgery? The injury didn't sound like something that would heal 100% on its own.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
