Sounds like they will pursue NAW and Lavert instead. Surprising, or they already know Trent won't be available. Either way, good for us.

Yes, well them replacing Beas with any sg instead of having Beas does create that domino effect.

As an aside, of course they prefer those guys. I dont know how many times i gotta say this but Trent being basically just a shooter makes him not all that valuable. Hope to retain him but its not the end of the world if we dont

The good news is Detroit needing to go outside their organization for a wing limits their ability to make a monster offer to Bobby.

As for NAW, sure he can defend, but his slow release 3 ball has rendered him ineffective offensively in the playoffs.

Won’t they just replace Beas with Green?

As for Bobby, it’s time for him to go.

So apparently, the word is that he's being investigated for his time as a Laker and as a Buck, for manipulating his/total rebounds.
So I guess he could rebound!
He just chose not to.

MikeIsGood wrote:Off the cuff, 8M per seems like a ton for a guy who played 8mpg in the playoffs, but it's a pretty tradeable contract. He seems like a glue guy, he looked fine when he did need to play more minutes, and the last year is a team option so he's basically an expiring two seasons from now.

And 8M is like nothing in the NBA nowdays.

He played pretty well whenever they put him out there, and Hartenstein is only there 2 years more max because of their upcoming money crunch. They might see him as a solid backup now who could potentially be a longer term, cheaper answer after losing Hartenstein so they'll reward with him with a modest extension now with the idea of keeping him long term.

Just spit balling. Like you mentioned, he should also be easily tradeable.

Some team might GAMBLE on him in the future. At the very least I BET he plays overseas. If it is over, PROPS to him for lighting it up.

What Green?

I’m sorry, I meant GTJ. AJ Green, Trent Green, Gary Trent Jr…my brain is gone.

lol.. had to attach a pick to move him for Nurkic who is little more than salary filler at this point. hilarious.

no idea what to make of this as it doesn't seem to really help either team in any significant way

And some people really thought we should attach a pick to dump Dame for Sexton and Collins.

There were seriously people who thought we should offload our highly valued '31 1st for Sexton & Collins. C'mon. I know we were cutting off a yr of Dame or Kuz, but that was a dog s**t proposal for our last substantial asset outside Giannis. Why do we want mid players around him?

If we're dealing '31 & '32, we need to be big game hunting.

Pre dame trade I remember rumors flying about sexton coming in. I wonder what that would have looked like.

Helps Charlotte. Word is Utah actually thinks Nurkic is good, which is hilarious.

Super curious to see what happens with Duncan Robinson. I don't want him. His value took a nose dive when they started calling illegal screens more often.

It's as silly as the guy who wanted to draft Dillon Jones.

I wasnt the one proposing the Dame/ Sexton deal, but anything to get out of that Dame contract.
