Excellent question lol what answer would I have to give to entice you to get on board?

Durantbird's suggestion seems like the best one.

I would also change the last category to just a free pick outside the continental United States, so guys like Duncan and Shai can be treated like overseas-born players.

Anyway, I'll join.

Sorry I was rushing so I missed the part about continental US. I also changed All Star to All NBA

Please note the rule change: Of your possible 3 North American players, only 1 of them can be All NBA in the chosen season.

I'd appreciate it if we can start the clock tomorrow. Heading to sleep and hadn't have the chance to leave a list yet.

Another question, is Russia considered both Europe and Asia?

No problem- any interest in switching positions so we can put a dent into today? No worries if not

Regarding Russia I honestly hadn't thought of that. Since it technically belongs to both, I am ok with Russian players fitting both categories. I'll add that in the rules

could also just make it simple and let the capital city be the deciding factor for the continent since there are few countries in more than one continent

I was just thinking about Turkey and honestly didn't realize Georgia/Aremania/Azerbaijan were also considered Europe. I will just insert Turkey/Georgia into the existing clause (the other 2 do not have any NBA players)

I was also thinking if someone was trying to be sneaky/findind a loophole and draft Michael Jordan and use Guam ( US island in oceania ) or someone use french Guyana to draft Wemby in south america

Is that sneaky? That's actually where those places are located. Had Wemby actually been born in French Guiana, South America is where I would expect him to count.

I just want to know what is allowed. I started thinking about this scenario since Durantbird asked about if Russia was in both continents and according to the rules you can use it for both continents. Only russian player I'm interested in is Andrei Kirilenko and he was born in the european part. So the question is can I use AK for the asian slot?

if that's not allowed then its fine but if its allowed why couldn't I use french Guyana for Wemby

The rules specify which countries this applies to. Anybody trying to use French Guiana for Wemby would be in breach of the rules as stated.

The Russia/Turkey/Georgia rule is stated in the OP in case anyone needs clarification there

Ditto what Fade said- French Guyana is in South America therefore Wemby applies in that pool. The Russia/Turkey/Georgia rule is stated in the OP in case anyone needs clarification there.

Oh yeah he wasn't born there so scratch that. It's just wherever the player is born.
