No issue on the amount this and next season but between sorber / Jaylin / IH we should have C minutes covered for the upcoming 2 seasons.

It's a little bit more per year than I thought he was going to get, but I am VERY pleased with this move. I thought he'd get $6M/yr not $8M, but I'm about to say he isn't worth $8M. Presti is having a very good off-season. If it pays $8M/yr I believe this leaves them about $5M under the tax and if they put a bit more on the front end to reduce future cap hits then it could be helpful in keeping the core, including IH and Dort, around in '26-'27 when the number crunch kicks in.

I think we will definitely try to stay out of the tax and not sure if it’s a flat deal or a normal increasing deal etc so that will impact our numbers this year for sure ?
Jaylin was a triple double when he started for us anyway so he definitely have immense value as a backup and he had his spots in the playoff as well so hopefully he keep working on his game.
Is that number with the Dillon / dieng cap hit ?

I think Houston is the one place Durant could be a difference maker, just because he provides the exact thing they did not have in a guy who can get them an efficient shot. He doesn't have to improve their team offense because they didn't have one, he just has to go get his. That said, they were a first round exit last year.

I think this offseason will be mainly about internal guys contract extensions. Chet/JDub signing their rookie max contracts; Jwill and likely Ajay signing long term deals (hopefully decreasing money since we are in a good shape for next season) and I wouldn't be surprised if Dort gets an extension.

No way. Chet won't give up a dollar with his injury history and I understand it. I don't think Shai will renounce to money either but he's the one that could do it because he's already super rich.

Presti finally started doing those declining contracts last season and it's gonna be VERY important. Odds that he plays for the thunder in the third season of that contract are not good if our core guys are still there.

Shai gonna earn 35% of the salary cap and each of Chet and JDub from 25% to 30% if I'm not mistaken so I hope Clay Bennett enjoyed lifting the larry o'brien (I do think he will pay the tax to a certain amount, not crazy stuff like Balmer)

I disagree but hope to be wrong. I think their physical play is gonna be a problem for us (Tari and Steven Adams can bother us and DFS if they add him too). I'm also way higher than consensus on Amen so that's partially why I'm so afraid of the Rockets. Think we match up really well against Sengun though.

We will see what happens in the league in the next few days but Nuggets/Clippers/Mavs gonna have a hard time to improve. Minny probably should be worse except if Ant takes a huge leap.
