We were promised we are not running it back this next season. Still the same boring roster due.

Beal is just a move to gain more draft capital. Whether he plays or not makes no difference. I rather he stay home and not take minutes, but i want more picks to use in potential trade.

But from my stance unless they have two first round draft picks to give us then im not even entertaining the idea.

The suns remain in tax hell, they cant just eat his contract in a buyout. Im sure theyre looking for expirings. But im not budging if im the Heat.. two firsts minimum.. maybe one first if its completely unprotected

We have enough
We are running it back
Organic growth
Hooray we avoided the tax, save Mickey some money
We love kasparas
We were able to bring in Duncan on a 3 year team friendly deal

Our big fa acquisition is really Davion Mitchell who we got at the deadline

No whales, no fireworks, just enough to maybe compete for an 8th seed

I'm laughing and crying because this is so damn accurate.

We signed Davion to a great deal.

Kaspar fell into our laps.

Duncan opted out.

Wiggs for Rui, Knecht and a 1st incoming.

Still a very productive player at this stage of his career and all star last season. Still can only wonder if Heat did indeed turn down a Herro for Harden type deal back when Harden first became available in Houston. Can’t tell me Jimmy, Harden, and Bam wouldn’t have made any real noise

Huge pass. He's not invested in basketball. His playoff performance was subpar. He's useless if he doesn't dominate the ball, but you can't win when the ball is in his hands.

He’s not coming here now. Was referring to back then. Ironically the exact thing we needed was a ball dominant play maker for the last 5 years…

Push all the chips in for KING JAMES

Or secretly work to subvert the Lakers and steal Luka

Get Derozan for pennies. At least make the regular season somewhat watchable

Year after year every offseason we expect this team to compete for a title.. we reset the timeline with jimmy gone and dodged a bullet with KD.. got lucky in the draft.. our team is young, let the young kids develop, no desperate trades losing picks, our window has extended, right pieces will come… we dug ourselves a little out of the big hole we are still in.. we are somewhat heading in the right direction… trust the process..

I havn't seen anyone mention that Duncan may have felt the need to opt out now due to the timing of all these deadlines.

If Duncan would've locked himself in to the 1 year 20 mil (which he had to do by today), then the Heat would've had until July 8th to make a decision on whether to keep him rostered for the 20 mil or release him with a 10 mil going away present.

That would've created a period of limbo where a lot of free agency would have taken place before Heat cut him on the 8th.

Now Duncan goes into free agency with a clean slate able to talk to teams as soon as the early negotiating period starts.

I think the Heat may have had more leverage here than we realize and this isn't simply a case of Duncan opting out with assurances from Heat of a long-term deal being offered.

Interesting recent insight by Wade, which nobody talked about here (unless i completely missed any posts) about how KD was nvr going to come here because he’s not following Lebron James footsteps. He mentioned it the first time when we were interested 10yr ago. Makes complete sense why he nvr came here. Absolutely we’re still paying for our past sins.

Not sure why, on recent locked on heat ep they entertaining & justifying lebron leaving lakers & signing here. Lakers have a decent team & just added Luka. Yet, now they dont have enough & he wants to leave for a better shot at a title, AGAIN. And this is after his whole bs about ring culture. Wish this douche wld retire. After Riles took away his cookies, you really think he wants to grovel back here . And do you think we’d take him back? Hell no.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Duncan Robinson, you are appreciated. Good bye.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?
