Are you smoking crack? The Bulls love Giddey. They’re about to give him a huge contract.

Yep. Something on the order of $30M/yr is what is being speculated.

No, I don't smoke crack. It was more of a question of if they could bring him over on the 11m for a JK 22m and then sign him to bigger bucks. It was just a question, nothing more.
Rumor out there is that Cleveland could be shopping J Allen. Don't know if it's true but I wonder if the Dubs could put together a package. It would have to include some picks, that's for sure. Or make a run at Portis.

Yeah, giddy will be expensive and I don't think he'll be worth that contract.

In other news, jaylin just for 3/28, which is less than I thought he'd get. Beasely's market had disappeared and he's being investigated for gambling.FAs are drying up and so is jk's potential landing spots. We'll probably make just one or two moves but I hope it's soon and not from whatever's left

That's probably the angle from Kuminga's agent, to try and force the Warriors into a move earlier than they want. Honestly, if the big-3 are being kept, I really don't see much that they can do, and as such, they really aren't losing out.

Watch Ayton sign with the Lakers for the minimum.

When the Blazers had a run of good wins around January, IIRC Atyon was playing well.

Maybe they really believe in the Chinese kid they just drafted.

The minimum? That seems a bit low. Wonder how much hes giving up in the buyout.

When the Suns went to the finals he was a big reason why. Think consistency (and work ethic) are the limited factors with him. He has the talent. Like with Wiggins, the key is not to expect max contract or #1 pick production. Just ask him to defend, rebound, and comvert easy looks. Hes not gonna bring intensity or consistent offense. Sucks for a #1 overall earning $30m, but at the MLE thats fine.

If he's a Klutch client, you can bet on him signing for the minimum with the Lakers.

Probably get drawn in by Lebron and Luka.

Jabari's case is interesting. He was suppose to be the first pick in his draft class, compared to KD.

He obviously hasn't lived up to those expectations but with his length and shooting, he has a very high ceiling.

So they are paying him despite not having the huge production.

Kuminga's agent could argue similarly, the high ceiling to retain him.

Im sure this jest but in case not…

Klutch clients arent going to give up any money. So he still may go to the lakers but i doubt he’ll be giving up any money on the way there.

So for the Blazers to buy him out they would have needed (i guess) to save some money to make it worth it to them. Tax payer mle amt seems like the minimum they would be wanting to save. Maybe more tho. Do Lakers have the MLE to spend?

I believe Monk signed for the minimum there. There were one or two others.

If i remember correctly (and pretty sure I do) Monk had no market and missed a lot of games with CHA. He revived his career with the Lakers.
