For the right value I would absolutely trade him Bridges,OG , McBride or Mitch. OG the one I would least prefer to trade. KAT only in the event it is a top 10-15 player like Giannis or JJJ. Even then KAT would be the one I avoid most to trade.

I do wonder if JJJ would ask out b/c that's the only way MEM moves him. they reportedly want to extend him. He's a CAA client and Memphis is one of the smallest markets, considering they traded away one of their best players, have a 1st time HC, and have to compete in a much tougher West, all the signs are there to want out. but we've gotten no indication he may even be on the market

- Knicks have picked up center Ariel Hukporti’s team option
- Knicks intend to turn down veteran P.J. Tucker’s option. Declining Tucker’s option lowers their payroll by $3.5 million.
- New York's total salary currently exceeds the first tax apron, giving them access to the $5.6 million taxpayer mid-level exception. Knicks can offer deals up to two years with 5% annual raises and can be divided among multiple players.
- Letting go of Tucker’s deal also gives the Knicks the ability to bring in players via sign-and-trade, as long as the incoming salary fits within that $5.6 million range.
- If the Knicks use the taxpayer MLE, they’ll be hard-capped at the second apron ($207.8 million in total salary). They also have the option to use veteran minimum contracts to fill out the roster.
- Knicks still have decisions to make on Delon Wright, Precious Achiuwa, Landry Shamet, and Cam Payne. Knicks are expected to monitor the market for backup guards.
- Knicks will be among the suitors for Shamet once free agency opens at 6 PM Sunday. Contenders from both conferences are expected to show interest.
- Additionally, sources confirmed that the Knicks extended a qualifying offer to Kevin McCullar Jr., as first reported by the New York Post.
