Ayton is a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) moron just like All Laker Fans.

Obvious strike for inappropriate langugage and baiting Lakers fans.

They didnt want a multi year contract while they just traded for Holiday and his 100mil contract?! These guys have no idea what they are doing.

They also took a huge gamble on Yang Hansen who was projected to be a 2nd round pick and picked him at #16. His passing skills look good but he's sub par athletically and the record for Chinese players since Yao Ming have not been good so it's a super bold (foolish) pick when you passed up better players at that spot.

If they really liked him they should have traded down from #16 and gotten some additional picks via a trade.

As others said during draft night, that pick seemed like a move to boost team price evaluation/Chinese revenue. What they have done this offseason is insane.

There were rumblings that teams in the 20's were interested in Hansen Yang, after workouts. It's less of a reach than people make it out to be, there are always a couple prospects who peak at the right time.

Pure talent vise, he is top 5 Center in nba.
But guy is lazy and basketball is not one of his top priorities in life.

On court he has bad habit of dribbling in traffic, but has no handles, his effort level isn't there, his rebounding could be better for player with such athletic profile, his defense should be way better especially given his athletic profile.
Like, even with most basic drive and will power, he could have been top 20 player without any issues.

But he seems to be more interested in influencers banging than anything else

Image
Why guy who can do this, isn't even top in 10 rebounding ?

Answer is ugly. He doesn't really care.

He's consistently been in the top 10 in rebounding
and this year averaged 10.2 rebounds per game which would have been 10th in the league but he did not play enough games this season to qualify and he's averaged double digits in rebounds every season he's been in the league.

Do people not do even the basic Google search before making these kinds of claims?

Lakers. This is Klutch. Putting your money on him ending up anywhere else is burning cash.

He’s a Klutch client. He probably told Portland he wasn’t resigning with them, and being with Klutch, they had their preferred destination (Lakers). Lakers weren’t willing to offer anything to get him this summer and wanted to wait. Joe “no balls” Cronin just said OK and gave Ayton and his agent what they want… likely hoping for more “good will” that being a “nice guy to work with” might bring… instead he just looks like the pushover that he is.

Klutch marketing needs to be studied, so many NBA fans think they run the league.

He’s actually not and has never been Klutch.

His agent is Bill Duffy who represents Luka, Ant, Chet, JDub, a few others. https://hoopshype.com/reps/bill-duffy/

B) Portland was not jumping to keep him. They just drafted a center #16 overall to go along with their other young big in Clingan. They don’t care about Ayton and were not going to try to re-sign him.

Why do people on this website just make things up

You call yourself DominAyton and you get bought out at 26 years old.

Also, always remember:
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/33898958/deandre-ayton-phoenix-suns-video-games

Ayton typically wakes up around 6 a.m. after only getting about two hours of sleep. There's time for a quick round of gaming after eating breakfast, then he's off to practice. Then it's back home to finish talking trash and practicing moves on the virtual court. On game days, Ayton is focused, but that schedule still includes time for video games. - Article quote

Some Blazer podcasts said there were deals… Blazers would have had to take back bad contracts but would have got draft capital in return. I find that hard to believe they weren’t willing to take can a couples years of contracts when they just made the Jrue trade… but sure, whatever.

This offseason has pissed me off as a Blazer fan like no other. Maybe it’ll work out, the Blazers will be next seasons Rockets and shock everyone and this post will age like fine room temp milk, but **** this random throw **** against the wall off-season by Cronin and the corpse of Blazers ownership. The teams sale can’t happen fast enough.

I hope the Lakers get him for free, it'll probably crash RealGM if they do!

It appears that Portland wanted him out, and they couldn't get anything back for him.

I have no idea who will sign him and at what price, he is DominAyton, max player LOL.

Will Lakers sign him, maybe to a very small and short contract, if they are desperate.

They will. Even if he’s not a Klutch client, he will end up in Las Angeles and LeBron will be fine for at least half a season.

At least for Portland, we get to see Yang this season. We get to see if there was a method to the madness or if that was pure insanity to take him that early. It was clear they wanted him and the Nets were gonna take him first round too… so they felt 16 was the lowest pick they could get him at. Maybe this season he blows up and is a surprise ROY candidate… for Cronin and Schmitz job security, they better hope that’s the case.

Brooklyn could sign him for like 4-yrs $80m or Detroit. I think the Hawks have cap space. San Antonio needs a backup.
