That's definitely going to be a fascinating subplot to the season.

They will. Even if he’s not a Klutch client, he will end up in Las Angeles and LeBron will be fine for at least half a season.

lol finally realized you were wrong about his agent?

He’s a Klutch client. He probably told Portland he wasn’t resigning with them, and being with Klutch, they had their preferred destination (Lakers). Lakers weren’t willing to offer anything to get him this summer and wanted to wait. Joe “no balls” Cronin just said OK and gave Ayton and his agent what they want… likely hoping for more “good will” that being a “nice guy to work with” might bring… instead he just looks like the pushover that he is.

Yeah, it's never ideal to get literally nothing back for a player but a roster slot, but here we are, right?
We'll see what happens. But yeah, I think we're all expecting him to head down to LA, where he will briefly be a beacon of offensive value before they realize he won't solve their defensive issues. But maybe that'll work out for him with all that passing there, right?

It’ll be interesting if the rumor we’re hearing here ends up true. If there’s a Grant to Lakers deal and Ayton signs there for pennies, than we can call that confirmed.

Right, I just meant it's done now, that's all. It’ll be interesting if the rumor we’re hearing here ends up true. If there’s a Grant to Lakers deal and Ayton signs there for pennies, than we can call that confirmed.
It would be better than the alternative, for sure!

Lakers wanted both DA and Grant, they couldn’t get both because of the CBA. The Blazers buy out DA so he can sign for vet min, then they make a trade for Grant but really it’s a trade for Grant and Ayton. Aligns also with DFS declining his options. Lakers would rather Grant over DFS (plus agent influence).
LeBron apparently thinks Grant is better than Rui (from Olympics), so for anyone that’s gonna ask why they would move Rui for Grant especially after Grants horse **** season, that’s why according to this insider.

How can people so confidently wrong?
He writes for the local gazette, he can't help it, his mind wanders sometimes.EmpireFalls wrote:Barnzy wrote:DusterBuster wrote:

This guy took an incorrect “fact” and then spun up an entire fanfiction, complete with fake conversations and fake justifications for it… only for the entire premise to be wrong. It’s just hilarious. It’s one thing to get details wrong but the way he made up an entire story based off of it is pathetic.

It certainly makes a degree of sense.
