I don't know. Gafford, PJ, Klay and Martin. Beyond that, I am not very interested. But yes, with Lebron, you can spend on SG or C instead.

Too many depth to give up for 52M LeBron. Not worthy at all.

Stein's saying we're looking at dumping Omax to make room for Exum after likely signing D'Lo.

I'd rather dump Powell or Hardy but would think Nico doesn't want to because he doesn't want to give up additional assets (likely a SRP or 2). We don't have much to begin with since Nico just gives them away like candy.

5.7M for DLo is a bargain. At this price, he may be the best possible guard we can sign already. 2nd year will be likely a PO, although I would hope we can negotiate for a TO instead. Omax is the easiest player to dump out of Hardy/Celab/Powell. However, I don't want to resign Exum back. Would rather hold onto that extra roster spot, and also the very limited cap space to stay below 2nd apron.

DLo/B-Will/Klay/Max/Naji/Flagg/PJ/AD/Lively/Gafford is an okay 10-man rotation before KI's return.

DoLo has the most upside offensively, while he is still young enough, and IMO, he has the decent physical tools to be at least average defensively.

DoLo is 31. Actually Exum is similar in age and is significantly better 2-way contributors. Maybe both can't do much against great teams. But Exum had played an exceptional game against OKC. Exum is actually better shooter and defender on more reasonable contract.

DoLo is 29, not 31. I also dont agree Exum is better shooter, defender I will give you that, but Exum is not lock down defender either. But in term of pick and roll execution, passing, ball handing etc. I will give edge to DoLo. Without Irving, our offense is in a complete mess, that it is clearly neither Exum nor Dinwiddie can be the solution, Coach kidd is not that good in term of game plan offensively. If we choose to bring back Exum, instead of DoLo, I dont think there will be much improvement to be expected.

Exum is good when healthy, but question is he cannot stay healthy..............also, when you say a starting pg that handle the whole team, DLo is clearly better than Exum in any day

No matter what PJW sign, the new contract is start at 26/27, but not this coming year 25/26

We are still slightly below the 2nd apron, after spending the 5.7 mini MLE on DoLo. PJ new contract with increasing salary will be counted next year. 2 way player salary is very minimal and large portion of it is not guaranteed.

2 way player salary not count in calculate apron or salary cap

We may extend PJ for the max of 4 years 88M contract, in which IMO, he would agree to that, although I may try to negotiate with him for some hometown discount, into the range of 4 years 80M.

If PJ takes the 89/4 you sign it immediately before he changes his mind.

I am thinking about DFS instead of DoLo. So that's 2 for 3 and you bring back Kai Jones.

It would eb a massive FA fail if our targets are D Lo and Exum. Those guys are worthless, D-Lo has a crap me first attitude and Exum is probably the one player in the league softer than AD

Ok, so you want a guy who can't create his own shot to save his life at a position that is arguably the deepest on our roster  and ommitt the position where we have an actual need  the DFS fanboys really are insane

To Dallas: Grayson Allen
To Phx: Naji Marshall, Haywood Highsmith
To Mia: Caleb Martin

For Dallas, they turn some of their forward depth into a guard that checks a lot of boxes for things they need. Conversely, the Suns turn much of their excess at guard into some needed wing/forward help, while also saving money. Miami may be the sticking point here if they do not want the extra years of Caleb, but he was at his best there and is Heat culture personified.

Bonus 1 - we get rid of one of Nico's many mistakes in Caleb
Bonus 2 - Grayson is a Duke guy so that may appeal to Cooper

Then trade another Nico mistake, Klay, for a stop gap PG

How do 52m of Lebron end up here in this crackpipe fantasy?

And how does Nico spin the defense wins championship and culture theme having this guy on the roster? I'd honestly just give the minutes and contract to the Nemhard brother
