Like contract said above. Giving Duncan a 3 year deal is malpractice. You all want him to continue backing up Herro or playing alongside him forcing the worst defensive SG/SF duo in the NBA? Or is it for the feels of sitting on the bench or continuing to eat into JJJ or Larrson’s minutes? Give him a S&T to Detroit and we’ll take back a 2nd and trade exception. Similar to Strus signing with Cavs

5 guys have been trying to shove it down everyones throat how much "Spo and Bam love Duncan" to try to make this extension happen. We need to thank him for his services and let someone else pick up the tab.

I hope I’m wrong but knowing how the Heat operate, they did not want to incur the 9.5 million dead cap hit. So it will be a 3 year deal at about that much.

That would be insane. That would be malpractice. That would be incompetence.

They don't really have much playmaking or shooting from the bench. I don't think you can just rely on a 19y old rookie to bring that.

I am not the biggest Duncan supporter, but they do need someone who can space the floor and make the game easier even when KJ25 is playing, hope they get someone else but it does make some sense.

You don't make poor signing decisions to alleviate a short term roster problem. You can fill those roles with other players. The contract though lingers on the books for years. We're literally freeing ourselves from that hell right now with the same player. Never ever overpay guys out of "necessity". We've had this guy for years and he hasn't made much difference. Move on.

Russell stunk last year. Only thing he is supposed to be good at is putting the ball in the bucket and that left him last year. Bad time for that to happen when he was entering FA.

Klutch work hand and hand with Joe Cronin. This was yet another Klutch under the table deal with Cronin to free up Ayton to sign the min with the Lakers.

Not that all agents aren’t shady but Klutch is openly doing shady deal after shady deal every year. Same thing getting Lebron his guy for nothing that would cost other teams draft compensation at minimum

They all are shady. You cant compete agianst other shady people without being shady
