Ah, the classic ‘guy acquired during the season is our free agent acquisition of the summer’.

With guys like Shead, Lawson, Ja’Kobe, CMB, Mogbo, possibly Ochai, along with Scottie available on second unit, I say **** it and trade for John Collins. Lots of strong defenders with him and he’ll stretch the floor.

Yeah I'm wondering if an RJ for John Collins deal is being discussed.

The question being, RJ is the better player but signed for a year longer. So how does that adjust the value back and forth.

The only thing that always bugs me about our front office is how much money they hand out. OG was the last team friendly deal we really got.

We would've given him 30 million per year if he was here.

Feel like it has a little more weight when that guy didn't play a single game for us yet.

100%. Now will he actually be healthy? That's the true story.

The Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Clippers, and Toronto Raptors, along with other teams, are expected to pursue Alexander-Walker in free agency, league sources told HoopsHype.

While the other teams listed are considered playoff-caliber teams, it’s worth noting that the Raptors love Toronto natives on their roster and had Canadians RJ Barrett, Chris Boucher, AJ Lawson, and Kelly Olynyk – who was eventually traded to the New Orleans Pelicans – on their roster during the 2024-25 season.

Alexander-Walker, a Toronto native, is expected to garner the full non-taxpayer mid-level exception in free agency as his floor with the potential to surpass that threshold, according to various executives around the league who spoke with HoopsHype.

I think it's just compulsory for all these accounts to include Toronto, for the clicks it generates.

I would love NAW on this team though.
