Richards has KNick written today.
He should’ve been our target all along. He’ll be great with Mitch starting, Deuce and Hart off the bench too.
Mitch / Richards
Towns / OG / Hart
OG / Hart
Bridges / Deuce
Brunson / ?
Robinson is not a starter in this league.
Can’t stay healthy and is a liability with FT shooting.

But then there's no center, and wing depth is nil.
I dunno man.

problem is, if Giannis is ok w/ HOU or SAS, they have more to offer. our best chance is if he forces his way here specifically

Richards is another big who struggles to play games. Just 114 games past 3 seasons. Only over 60 twice in 6 years. No 3 shot but he does hit his Free Throws!!!

Giannis has two years and then a 62mil PO left on his contract. He may give a preferred list of teams but, I doubt he forces his way to one team. That limits the return MIL could get. I don't see him doing that.
I would think they would be looking to rebuild if they trade Giannis. We really can't provide that type of package. We have no n picks. No young talent on cheap deals.
I really don't see this happening. Then again, I didn't see the last three big trades happening either. It just seems highly unlikely.
KnixinSix wrote:Ok here goes;
Nick Richards for his 5 MIllion. Traded for Kolek and Dadiet plus a pick or McBride.
LeBron and Bronny for Hart, Mitch and Bridges (salaries very, very close to matching may need to add 3rd team) *also could be OG and Mitch instead
Richards/KAT/Huk
KAT/LeBron/OG
LeBron/OG/MLE (Simmons, Oubre,Trent Jr , Nance, etc.)
MLE/Wright/Shamet
Brunson/Wright/Shamet
If LeBron is still LeBron next year that's a championship team.

I dunno - smells like last year's Lakers.

THis bigtime depends on a couple things
Is Giannis specifically asking for Knicks?
Is ownership going to oblige his wishes?
If both those true then yes it could happen. If only one of those true it's unlikely. If we are on a list of a few top teams most of those teams can outbid us unless we turn KAT into a bunch of picks. I don't know if HArt,Robinson and Bridges can generate enough vlaue to be a good enough offer. Maybe they can but I lean towards another team having something better.
