Don't see what you guys are talking about with Ayton's motor. I once saw him lifting weights with his shirt off in a totally not staged or cringey social media post after a Suns win. Clearly he's locked in.

Wiggins is the better player, a true 3 rather than a 4 masquerading as one and has always come off as a likable guy whereas Kuzma is none of those things and comes off as a wannabe hollywood douche.
Wiggins is ten times the player Kuzma is and I don't think Wiggins is all that great.
Wiggins is a very good switchable defender- the kind the Bucks need.
The contract is an issue vis a vis the apron, but Wiggins has actual bball skills and value. Kuzma has very little.

I’m not a big Ayton fan by any means but at 26 he is 100% the type of reclamation project you should be taking a “risk” on.

Whitmore and a 2nd would be huge!

I think Whitmore is a lot more valuable than that
Moody is more realistic, I've been on the Moody train for years

Too much investment in one guy, imo, & don't know how they'd avoid the tax like some like Nehm are reporting (don't know how totally possible).

I still like Whitmore but we tend to do this thing where we overrate another teams' prospects because we don't closely follow them as much as their fanbase does. If DFS looks to be heading to Houston on the full mid-level, then that certainly tells me they don't see a role for Whitmore anytime soon. Doesn't mean they'd just give him away for free, but it could certainly mean they're fine moving him for another win-now piece.

I'd agree with you if I thought we had the right coaching staff. But with Doc, the most likely scenario is that Ayton finds himself glued to the bench.

I'd love that. Saw his player option was declined. Wonder what his price tag will be? Have to imagine you could get him and still keep a guy like GTJ as opposed to soaking up the rest of the space we have on a guy like Alexander-Walker.

I like NAW, he’s a viable GTJ replacement if we’re priced out. 2 + 1 for 24m for GTJ or NAW and 1 + 1 for 12m for KPJ. That’s the best use of the MLE I think. I know the POs are nasty business but it’s incentive to get them to sign and it keeps them motivated to raise their stock. Making them the starting back court and playing with Giannis should essentially sell the idea.

He will not make us a contender and he is owed alot of money. Just my opinion. Rather would had Mids at 30 this year rather than had Kuzma at over 40 for 2 years. Rather have Kuzma at 40 than Wiggy at over 85 over 3 years.

All the years bitching about Thanasis and Joe Ingles is on a roster for the third steak year for no apparent reason.

It's not 85 over 3, it's 58 over 2 (vs. 42 over 2 for Kuzma). So his deal expires at the same time as Kuzma and it's about ~8mil more per year. I honestly don't think that's a huge difference, and he's a considerably better player than Kuzma imo. Which isn't an endorsement of Wiggins, but rather just how hilariously bad Kuzma was this past year. Like he might've literally been the worst player in the league getting 20+ mpg. Wiggins is frustrating but he's way better than that at least and it'd make a noticeable difference on court.

Yeah, I can’t really believe we’re even having a debate about Wiggins vs. Kuzma from a talent perspective.

Me too. He’s only 24 too. Bright future .

All your points are valid and need to be considered if this deal is an option.
It's where you equate Kuzma and Wiggins that I disagree. I cetainly can see a future where we get Wiggins and this board, including me, are criticizing him all the time.
