Nick Richards for his 5 MIllion. Traded for Kolek and Dadiet plus a pick or McBride.

LeBron and Bronny for Hart, Mitch and Bridges (salaries very, very close to matching may need to add 3rd team) *also could be OG and Mitch instead

Richards/KAT/Huk
KAT/LeBron/OG
LeBron/OG/MLE (Simmons, Oubre,Trent Jr , Nance, etc.)
MLE/Wright/Shamet
Brunson/Wright/Shamet

If LeBron is still LeBron next year that's a championship team.

However there is a REASON players like Brown play just 22.5 min/game and starters play over 30.

Brown has NEVER played over 30; Hart has played over 30 for the past 4 years for three different teams. For example, Obi would have had 20ppg and 8 reb in the same minutes as Hart. Obi is VERY similar in stats to Brown. Do you think Obi is a 30 min/game player in the NBA?

That Princess Bride cast is deeper than our bench.

I don't know if Brown could replace Hart but I don't think Hart should have been starting last year and playing so many minutes. If he didn't have the connection to Brunson I would honestly look to move him if they could find a better fit in the starting lineup or use that 20M for better depth. He already has some severe limitations on both ends of the court and i'm not sure how his game will age as an energy/intangibles guy now that he is 30.

He couldn’t and Hart is a keeper, but Mitch should start and we need a backup center. Hart will be insane off the bench. It is actually very easy.

I don't know what the best fit for the starting lineup is since Thibs ran out the same 5 as many minutes as possible. I saw some things I liked with Mitch in the starting lineup and some things I didn't. In the end I still have some concerns about relying on Mitch and his health as a starting 5, paying another 5 in KAT 55-60M+ to be a stretch 4 with unreliable defense, investing in another center to back them up and paying Hart $20M to come off the bench while also kind of impacting the game like a super undersized 5.

That is a lot of time and money invested in overlapping players while the team would still have holes in other areas such as ball handling and creation.

Gimme no trade of KAT/Brunson and one of Giannis , JJJ , Lebron (or even Kessler) and let's go get it.

Every team has some concerns. If our concern is a rotation of Hart, KAT, Richards and Robinson, I think we’re doing really well.

Bottom line is, posters were whining all year about our inability to upgrade this roster because of Devil Bridges, and now we’re talking about Richards, Ayton, Tyus Jones, Bruce Brown, Lonnie Walker, Al Horford… and my sleeper still is Jrue on a buyout.

Seriously, y’all need to chill.

It's way more likely that we make minor moves around the edges, as they say.

With that said, coming away with Tre Mann (2-year deal Tax MLE) and Ayton (1-year Vet Min) would be a fabulous off-season.

Ayton (28) / Mitch (20)
KAT (33) / Hart (15)
OG (32) / Hart (9) / Deuce (4) / (Mann (3)
Mikal (34) / Deuce (14)
Brunson (33) / Mann (15)

9-man rotation. Finals... probable.

Yeah, i'm not expecting a perfect roster but unless the plan is for the team to win by dominating the glass I would try to fill some other holes on the roster instead. Also not a big fan of Richards. Every fan base seems to complain about his defensive IQ. When I watched him he did block shots and grab rebounds but he was out of position far too often and he picked up a lot of silly fouls. We already have to deal with KAT's issues with the same thing. I assume that is part of the reason the Suns went and got 2 new centers after just acquiring him.

problem is, if Giannis is ok w/ HOU or SAS, they have more to offer. our best chance is if he forces his way here specifically

He’s ours!

Whitmore is a goner, would love to get him, but I'd expect a team like the Jazz to try and get him.

Is Deangelo Russell a minimum player by now? Not the biggest fan of him but if you can get him cheap it might be tolerable

I’d be happy with that. Under no circumstance can we lose him for nothing after all we gave up

There's no chance we lose him for nothing.

If he doesn't extend, he'll get traded.

Honestly, I’m excited. I hope we don’t screw up. But Giannis, I’ll pick you up at the airport.
