However there is a REASON players like Brown play just 22.5 min/game and starters play over 30.
Brown has NEVER played over 30; Hart has played over 30 for the past 4 years for three different teams. For example, Obi would have had 20ppg and 8 reb in the same minutes as Hart. Obi is VERY similar in stats to Brown. Do you think Obi is a 30 min/game player in the NBA?

I don't know if Brown could replace Hart but I don't think Hart should have been starting last year and playing so many minutes. If he didn't have the connection to Brunson I would honestly look to move him if they could find a better fit in the starting lineup or use that 20M for better depth. He already has some severe limitations on both ends of the court and i'm not sure how his game will age as an energy/intangibles guy now that he is 30.
He couldn’t and Hart is a keeper, but Mitch should start and we need a backup center. Hart will be insane off the bench. It is actually very easy.

I don't know what the best fit for the starting lineup is since Thibs ran out the same 5 as many minutes as possible. I saw some things I liked with Mitch in the starting lineup and some things I didn't. In the end I still have some concerns about relying on Mitch and his health as a starting 5, paying another 5 in KAT 55-60M+ to be a stretch 4 with unreliable defense, investing in another center to back them up and paying Hart $20M to come off the bench while also kind of impacting the game like a super undersized 5.
That is a lot of time and money invested in overlapping players while the team would still have holes in other areas such as ball handling and creation.

Every team has some concerns. If our concern is a rotation of Hart, KAT, Richards and Robinson, I think we’re doing really well.

With that said, coming away with Tre Mann (2-year deal Tax MLE) and Ayton (1-year Vet Min) would be a fabulous off-season.
