I don't see any team trading for LeBron unless it's pennies on the dollar and of course it won't be. His age and mileage is a big risk to trade for.

Ayton buyout….omg Rob gets saved again lol

Better to be lucky than good sometimes

Will Ayton take mini mle or let DFS walk and give him the mle

Say he takes mini mle

Luka, Reaves, Rui, Bron, Ayton
Gabe, Knecht, DFS, Vando, Hayes?
Maxi

Can trade 2 expirings still or go bigger and include Rui or Vando

Lakers just need to send Gabe or Kleber expirings with SRPs to someone's TPE or capspace and they can have both.

Ayton in to MLE and DFS held with Caphold.

Ayton would certainly be a high upside pickup. Could see him preferring Charlotte, I imagine he'll have some options.

Yep, losing DFS for Ayton isn't really move the needle either way. It's seems that they want clean sheet for 26 summer, so I'm not expect much movement from Robert P, unless it's a Lbj trade

If these guys let DFS walk to offer Ayton the full MLE, I’d be counting down the days until Mark Walter fires them all.

How much longer do we have to deal with Lebron drama?

What's the clean sheet in 2026 about?

Rob's obsession with this is why Lakers have not nearly met their potential. They could have had 3+ championships with LeBron and Davis if they weren't stupidly obsessed with capspace.

It's an awful strategy. If you have decent contracts on your books you can clear salary in a jiffy.

What great FA signings did they have in he past 5 seasons? Why did they keep doing short deals and not signing SRPs to 4 year deals. It's infuriating how dumb this guy is and how he's allowed to get away with it.

Didn't he say he wanted to play in a winning situation? If Charlotte wins 30-35 games this year, it'll be a huge success. That's probably not what he's chasing.

Hadn't seen that report yet, makes certain teams (Charlotte) less likely for sure.

My guess it's more about imbalanced trade during the next off season. They would offer cap relief and 2 picks in 31 and 33

I just don't believe that LAL can't bring back DFS and sign Ayton with TMLE for one year. It's not hard to sell a starting C job on a team with Lebron and Luka. On the other hand Pelinka bleeds on the margins every transaction window, so who knows

Yup the guy is a **** moron

Losing DFS for nothing, after giving up 3 2nds would be another example

We have no good 3 and d players besides DFS

Gabe isn’t good

Rui is too inconsistent on defense and sometimes lacks motor

If we could get NAW, I’ll be happy, but I don’t see that

Who could we get with the large mle that’s a good defender?

There has to be a bigger trade in the works. I can’t believe Pelinka went from throwing the house at Mark Williams to preaching patience before Luka signs his extension.

We shall see, may it be the nail in Pelinkas coffin or the move that revives him.

Say we get Ayton for free and sign Hayes/capela/stretch c

What’s the move?

Even if we keep DFS, need a poa defender and even an upgrade at wing stopper

Can move Rui, Knecht, expirings, 2031 1st, swaps

Any good young defenders?

I don’t see a scenario where Luka doesn’t hand in a trade request if he plays a season with Ayton.
