Clarkson is at the very tail end of his prime, and is definitely on the downside of his career (he's 32). His percentages have really fluctuated the last few seasons.

I wouldn't have a ton of interest, especially considering he's a higher price point then Jones.

I think it probably makes sense to hold on to Goga, until Moe gets back and shows he's healthy and capable of playing with the intensity he has been known for. Goga is probably one of the better drop bigs in the league on defense, and is plenty efficient on offense in his limited touches. He'd probably be pretty valuable to a contender should their starting center go down.

If WCJ, JI, and Moe are all relatively healthy, i wouldn't even mind Mo Bamba as the 3rd/4th big. I know blasphemy, but he should be pretty available, maybe even into the season. Ben Simmons another option likely at a minimum

If we traded Goga.... I'd do it. Lol... And hope all he wants to do is repay the city. Haha

I would like to keep JI if he can produce like season before last. But if we think he'll continue to regress, a one-year rental/expiring contract of Clarkson for quick offense off the bench (at the expense of defense) isn't the worst idea.

He's also not a black hole when he has the ball.

He just got bought out. He can be the scorer we need off the bench.
For $3 or 4m, he'd be perfect.

Absolutely not. We dumped Cole not to bring on a similar version of him in Clarkson.

I hear you. But he's got more size.

And it's not like I was crazy about the idea myself, particularly giving up JI to get him, but if he could be had for cheap, I'd consider it.

But I'd rather bring back Moe if I had the choice.

Im all for getting a scoring bench guard, but please not one of those 35% career 3P guys. Let’s get shooters finally, otherwise we could’ve just kept Cole.

I think, technically, we now are able to trade our 2032 frp if desired

I see a market for Goga developing...Let's go Weltman.

Goga should have trade value. Im not dumping him just to shed salary.

But I rather dump him than JI.

But I prefer to dump Jett.

Cooking up the trade machine, trying to find a microwave scorer.

Goga for Hield works. Unsure how either side feels about that. Warriors have no center besides Jackson-Davis. But we also kinda need Goga for the first couple of months

Are there any teams that would take Jett for nothing?
Probably not. The other team would need the cap space and Magic would have to throw in a 2nd rounder.

Thomas is a free agent and the Nets are going to resign him for more than $20M annually.

In terms of Jett, don’t just focus on cap space teams.

More than half the league have TPEs that could absorb Jett’s salary.

Maybe you can reflect on Jones verses Anthony now.

:)

And: Jones is 4M cheaper. (LOL)
