Where are you getting that? I have this:

Under Contract
Embiid 55.2
George 51.6
Maxey 37.9
Oubre 8.3
Drummond 5.0
McCain 4.2
Council 2.2
Edwards 2.0
Bona 1.9
TOTAL 9 Players Under Contact: 168.3

Draft Picks To Sign
Edgecombe 11.1
Broome 1.2
TOTAL 2 Draft Picks To Sign: 12.3

Free Agents to Sign
Grimes 16.0
TaxMLE 5.8 (Yabu? Boucher? LaRavia?)
Vet Min 2.0 (Lowry?)
TOTAL 3 Free Agents to Sign: 23.8

TOTAL for 14 Players: 204.4p

$204.4m is $3.4m under the 2nd Apron of $207.8m. We can bump up Grimes to $19m in year 1 and remain under the 2nd Apron while still using the full TaxMLE on Yabu or someone else, without having to dump Oubre or Drummond.

Gordon is supposedly coming back at the minimum where he gets a raise but the Sixers get a smaller cap hit. That's another 2.1M.

They would be at 206.5M hard capped at 207.8. Doesn't leave much room for injury replacements, but they would have a full 15. Just seems to me they dump Oubre for a 2nd and give themselves a wide berth and only carry 14 which is Daryl's MO.

But maybe Gordon just decides to go elsewhere and then it's not a concern.

I'm very confident we're not going with 15 players, nor are we dumping Oubre. Gordon coming back is just speculation at this point but if he is, I assume Lowry is not so we still end up at the same salary/tax for 14 players.

You still have to wonder what Joshy has to say about the payroll when they are a .500 team over the 1st apron at the trade deadline. But I suppose we just cross that bridge when we come to it.

Eric Gordon is even a good vet lol. Dude snitched on the team meeting and looked miserable his entire time here.

Robert Marks says LeBron has no trade market. PG is from LA and also has no trade market.

Hmmm...

Continuing on with this charade that Embiid is going to be back is ridiculous.

Also, I could see the Knicks sending KAT for LeBron.

You wouldn't trade PG for an expiring contract?

Sure, but not LeBron. Not now. The circus that comes with him is too much. And it's not like they're winning anything even with him. Also LeBron won't want to come here anyway. He's angling for CLE or possibly NY.

The goal this year should be just to tread water, convey like the 14th pick to OKC.

Then medically retire Jo and trade PG for expirings.

I would trade PG for Lebron, for the record. And I have never wanted Lebron on this team. There's too much benefit to getting off PG now, and I'd rather give OKC the 20th pick and make the playoffs instead.

If they trade for LeBron, they going to do other dumb moves like trade McCain for a mediocre 4 at LeBron’s request. And that’s if McCain isn’t in the LeBron deal because that won’t be a straight up PG/LeBron swap.
always a jump shot away.

Cleveland is not possible. Over the second apron.

Even if you don't like LeBron, the value of that trade is a homerun. I doubt LeBron wants to come here, but you at least make the call.

My God, we do this every year with Lebron it seems. Hell no! There's got to be other ways to get rid of Paul George.

No one is thirsting after LeBron. We're talking about a swap for PG, a hypothetical trade that would never happen anyway.

I never wanted LeBron but I would certainly have traded Tobias for him. That's what this is: getting off the Tobias contract part 2.

We're all LeBron haters but you know the deal is a home run. If it happened you'd be the first to bow to THE KING!!!

Wish we could get in on this Kuminga business. It would be difficult to do that while also retaining Grimes though.

Good news for us if Nets are going after Aldama. Means less potential cap room to swipe Grimes...

Are you saying that you think that I think Lebron James is a King? Dude...He's not even the first all time great King James on my list. That titular award goes to actor Ice T...Or is it Iced Tea? Can't remember. Anwyay he portrayed street gangster King James in the 90s thriller Trespass. Bill Paxton, Iced Cubes, and William Saddler star in supporting roles. That character would make Lebron cry for his life.
