Sure, unless theres a bigger reason for it.

Ayton is a cool idea but would we have any hope of retaining him?

Right now the Lakers only have their MLE. So very curious what that Ayton number is and how it impacts Brook. Either way LAL needs multiple centers anyway.

The guy will undoubtedly crumble under the pressure in such a big market. If he wasn’t so mentally weak he wouldn’t be getting bought out in the first place.

That's still 5-6 dead spots. It's something we should be looking to resolve. Also, I don't think Ayton is a complementary big to Giannis, Bobby, the starting frontcourt. Sims complements Bob & at least is a defensive/rim protecting option.

I'd rather spend that BAE on a bigger wing, like LaRavia, if we can. Ajax, Livingston, Pat is a rough room. Worse than last yr even, when we had Prince. Speaking of which, got to be willing to spend on a couple vet mins, & pay a little tax for depth. It's not the higher threshold.

Ayton took a 10 million less than he's owed from Portland on the buyout. He either really wanted out of Portland or had Intel he'd get that on the market.

Up until Bogut and Simmons broke the pattern, most championship teams had an Aussie somewhere in the squad because of their value as teammates/leaders etc.

Yeah, I'm guessing multiple teams out there that would give him eight-figures, MLE deals. You're not getting him on a minimum (unless you're LA of course). Clarkson on the other hand...

I guess being the one non french in the league that likes Gobert can earn you millions.

Ingles is a vibe guy. Similar to yet different from that guy they paid to be on the bench in miami for many years after he was a usable player

Hate to say it but the Bucks could use a bench enforcer/locker room leader type. The Jared Dudleys/PJ Tuckers are so valuable for stabilizing locker rooms

James Johnson was so important for Indy last year

This is the best case scenario if they want both, because this would force a sign and trade for Lopez.

Seems like Ayton might cost Brook some money.

Ayton/Wiggins are the complete wrong direction. Just bring back GTJ, KPJ & Sims. Then try to get Hauser for Pat, and anything for Kuzma. Kuzma and Pat can be dealt at the deadline as well, no need to rush it if there isn't anything available.

The Bucks don't have great talent, but they have great culture.
