We're not competitive for the top FAs, obviously, but to sell a bench guy coming on they need to know what the coach's philosophy and minutes distribution will look like. Especially if we're looking for discounts.

Pair Brown with Nori or Borrego and we could be in a much worst situation than that. Lowkey considering the market of available coaches with Playoff experience Brown honestly might be the best out there to get.

Which I still disagree with to this day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We could have hired udoka and will hardy and we did interview them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t remember anyone saying that about Thibs.. and how is he a journey man when he only coached two teams prior to the Knicks?

Melo .. the same was definitely implied although the word Journey man wasn't specifically used. He was called a failed coach and someone that nobody wanted and that's why he was out of the NBA. I know because I argued in favor of Thibs before I realized he was no longer the right coach. I've had discussions with people in this thread.. go back to when we hired him. It wasn't received that well.

Brown or Jenkins I think people will have an issue. it's just what we do lol
