For who?

Memphis

He's not a free agent. It's a renegotiation/extension. It only could have been Memphis.

I was confused for a second given this is the Pistons-related Free Agency Thread... but maybe my expectations are wrong about what should get posted here.

I just posted him cause he’s always been the dream target for us

We're gonna have to work through trades. FA signing might not be our bag

This free agency is officially a BUST. I don’t want to spend on anyone left

If all of your hopes were on a single restricted free agent then they were a bust before we even started.

I was hoping we'd somehow be in the mix for Aldama too, but there absolutely was reporting that indicated their intentions to keep him.

Santi- fair market with the Grizzlies
Beasley- sigh
DFS-strongly linked to the Rockets

I almost don’t want to pick anyone at this point

I like BBall Paul and all as a 3rd string C... but should we be worried that this is the 1st signing announced? Is this any indication as to whether we are operating above or below the cap?

First announced and first actually signed are not the same thing.

As for your second question, I'll have to defer to the experts.

Are you under the belief that the front office's attention has been on Paul and not other acquisitions and that has you worried about priorities or something? I'm not sure what difference it makes that this was announced first.
