If its not Aldama, one has to wonder if Langdon is really betting the farm on Klintman. I mean Aldama can be had, If Langdon "overpays" for his services. There is a number, that Memphis will not match. Now with Beasley likely gone, he can focus on the starting 5.

I've said this before, but the starting 5 is the focal point. Get that right, then start adding bench guys. To me, the only guy off the bench that is untouchable, is Stew. His versatility is perfect. Even then, if you have to include him in a trade, to get the guy you want, you do it.

There is a gamble in Aldama. Your hoping as a starter, he's as good as he's been, when time opens up, amd he's played heavy minutes. I just don't see anyone else on the horizon.

Aldama not signing yet if Memphis is intent to keep him does offer a glimmer of hope. Unless they are going to let the market set his price and decide to march or not.

Aldama certainly is hoping to get an offer higher than whatever Memphis has already offered to him. Could be a go out and get an offer sheet and we'll match type of situation. RFA market is often times pretty rough to start FA because teams don't want their cap room tied up waiting for a team to match at the last moment.

Yes, that's how restricted free agency works.

* And as he is a RFA, don't expect any movement on him by anybody until after the UFA flury.

2 possibilities with Aldama:

1) Sign and trade- they decide they like what they can get for him and would prefer that to paying him- this COULD happen soon or it could take a long time
2) They are resolved to keep him. In this case it can take a long time. Weeks or more.

Cam Johnson is the last hope it would seem. I mean the team has an obvious need here.

*sigh* Oh well. Occasional games again this season it is.

Our starting power forward will be Tobias Harris.

And I can...live with that if we do a good job replacing Beasley, which we seem to have shifted focus too after it became apparent the stretch bigs weren't going to be available.

Rockets signing DFS to a 4 year deal. They should just trade us Eason.

Yup. I'm more than fine with Harris. I've been more into the backup PG need, and who we might target there...

Two things:

1) I guess all hope is lost for you. Cam Johnson traded to the Nuggets for MPJ and a first round pick in 2032.

2) We just tripled our win total and you're already ready to tune out? To each their own I suppose.

Yeah dude was on the General Board crying about Trajan sitting on his hands in the Aldama thread that we didn't land him. Aldama got announced at 6:17. I guess he thinks the Grizzlies knocked on Aldama's door at 6:01, and this wasn't something that had been worked out over months since their season ended.

Nuggets get Cam Johnson for MPjr and a 2032 unprotected 1st. Cam would have fit great here.

Sasser to Minnesota for Leonard Miller and a 2nd? Miller is a Pf/C prospect I’d like to add to our roster for depth.

Could also try to get Taylor Hendricks while his value seems to be pretty low
