That is going to be an unwatchable team, I feel terrible for SAC fans. At the very least, they should be abysmal this year and if they luck into Dybantsa they'd have nice peripheral pieces already with Murray-Sabonis.

I think he’s a good player . Just need to see for how much and how long.

Next up Russ! I'm ready for this AAU team that blows up before Xmas.

Pray they can keep keon.

Keon, Keegan, Nique, Sabonis. Top pick?

Cut Derozan. Buy out LaVine. JVal + Monk gets traded. I could live with that if we get a top pick.

At this point you just need to use some peer pressure to get Vivek really interested in losing players, so yes - all in on Russ!

Yeah it's "steer into the skid" time in Sac Town

He helps, but if they can't do something to improve defensively its not going to matter I don't think.

Yeah for Monk to clear cap to get Russ.

This better be Perry tanking under Vivek’s nose. If he wants to do these moves for any other reason he sucks and we’re screwed for years.

Look like Monk for Dennis swap. Cuts a year off monk contract.

Dennis, Lavine , demar leave a lot to be desired on the perimeter

If we are trading monk for Schroeder in a sign and trade then Scott Perry will have spent all of the good will his competent draft afforded him. We shouldn't be targeting Schroeder and Westbrook in the first place let alone giving up any sort of asset. This is just the most kangz behavior you could imagine. It is clear that bench scoring guards are no longer considered valuable in the league, but it doesn't mean we have to make terrible moves like this.

If this is really what we are doing, it makes me feel shame to be a kings fan.

This franchise should be relegated to the gleague. Its literally torture with this owner. Im very close to just being an nba fan instead of a kings fan.

You and I have disagreed about whether to retool or rebuild, but I think we can both agree that this is just pathetic. And serves neither direction.

I was always down to re-tool if it started with lamelo, garland or morant. Once I realized none of them could be had, it didnt make sense to me. This is a roster full of offball guards, centers and keegan. We needed to add 3 forwards and a star pg just to be in a position I felt good about.

Then you start hearing looking at FA pg options and realize the path next year is at best the 10th seed, sabonis asking out (hurting any value he currently has).

I hate this. I dont want the team to be bad. They needed to add good vets 2-3 years ago. Its now too late. Just wait out half a year, hope some contenders want monk, demar, jval and call it a day.

I've always been a Pacers Fan but my NBA fandom has equaled being a Pacers Fan over the decades. I'm surprised people, fans, of poor franchises stay so long. It shows your passion and desire to the club, which I really respect.

I'm not even from California, I'm from Ohio, I jumped on the kings bandwagon in 2002 but I never got off despite decades of bad teams. I have always been a fan of the"beautiful game" with guys making the extra pass and tons of motion on the court and the kings were the best at it when I first started watching pro games.

Is Schroder even better than Monk? I get that I might be biased because Dennis was butt in his brief time in GS, but my gut reaction is no.

No he is not as good as monk. He might be a more natural point guard but there is a huge difference in talent level.

If I'm being honest, for what the Kings need, yes.

What we saw last year was that when Monk-LaVine-Demar were on the court together it was an absolute disaster. Now I'm not saying Schroder is great, but at a bare minimum he's a better defender than Monk.

That said, fitting pieces around LaVine/Demar is the 1st mistake. Even if you are stuck with these guys because you can't trade them, you don't have to build around them.

This! The Bulls tried and it doesn’t work. Monk for Shroeder is a good trade for Detroit.
