lol that 2032 pick will likely be valuable but Denver did ok here to finally have a bit of roster flexibility.

Have you not noticed the revival of the 7 footer?
And CMB skill set is way better used at the PF spot.
Why would you even want a 6'8 center? Scottie should be the C if anything. He's bigger and longer.
Wasn't much of a revival in the playoffs when it matters.
All 4 teams in the conference finals had 7fters that played significant roles. Turner and Chet are like the poster boys for stretch bigs who also protect the rim.
It's looking more and more like we need a versatile 7fter. Either one who can shoot or one who can catch a lob, while providing some rim protection.
That's not a revival though lol floor spacing bigs that can defend have never went out of style. They're also at a big premium because they are hard to find.

Thats a steal Jake's a very good basketball player. Excellent playmaker for his size. Was kind of hoping Toronto would sign him.
Agreed, this is a sneaky good signing

Defintely not our C.
Play some minutes at the 5? Sure, but the only raptor on the roster who might maybe possibly be a starting 5 is Chomche.
Okay man whatever you say.
Did you even read his scouting report? His far more usable as a switch defender. He also is only 6-7 which makes him undersized on that position.
Hes gonna be playing those backup Center minutes. This is like when Toronto drafted Scottie Barnes and noone knew what he did. Tried to explain to people he was a pointguard in Highschool, Team USA and for Florida St. People would say just because he can dribble does not make him a PG. Well he is a PG. CMB is a Center. Hes not going to fit any typical Center roles currently in the league but hes a Center. He expects to battle with the 7 footers. He wont be complaining about being matched up with Embiid or Jokic. He wont just give up. Hes gonna find solutions and win matchups. Being undersized is not going to stop him from being productive.

Perfect for both parties. Bruce needs to play off superstars or he's garbage, denver needs guys that understand how to play off jokic and be productive.

We have no money and i doubt any of these free agents would choose Toronto anyways...If a Raptors move happens it will be via trade...
