Have you not noticed the revival of the 7 footer?

And CMB skill set is way better used at the PF spot.

Why would you even want a 6'8 center? Scottie should be the C if anything. He's bigger and longer.

Sometimes you just get a player that doesnt fit the mold. Thats what CMB is. He's a positionless player and there will be minutes at the C position. Is a he a traditional Center. No. But hes going to be the Center is a Center by committe Centerless lineup if you wanna call it that. We had Precious Achuiwa as our Center. Brandon Clarke played minutes at C. But CMB cant do it? Defensively everything will switch so whether its Mogbo, Barnes, CMB its not necassarily he will just be a screen setting low post player. Its dynamic and unique.They wouldnt have drafted him at 9 if they didnt think he could eat up those minutes. But its okay we will watch the games and you guys will be surprised. Youll realise that 6'8 240 with a 7'1 wingspan is alot bigger than you think.

Only an injury would make this true...I mean they were a 50 win team and just traded Green/Brooks/10th pick and 2nds for Durant/DFS/Capella....And still have assets to make another trade...

Capela taking that contract from Houston is shocking. They already have Sengun and Adams at center, and can't trade either of them. At PF, they have Smith and Eason, and the guys lined up at SF (Durant and DFS) can also play PF.

I mean, it's good value for Houston, but is Capela really going there to be a third stringer? Are they planning to play a huge lineup with Alperen Sengun at PF and Tari Eason as the backup SG? I'm not really sure what's going on.
